hello ian! i got a few transicords, got them all up and running fine - just one de luxe model has a dysfunctional "c sharp" button on the left. all screws undone, and no give. wasnt there a specialized shop in edinburgh or such i could ask for advice? great video! and having fun with the audiophile right now.-)

Literally the first thing my eye goes to of the very first frame is the Studiologic Sledge Black in the background. lol Great video! I had no idea Farfisa ever made an Accordion!

Switches on the back of the keyboard like that are often connected to the acoustic accordion registers
Do you see that on a lot of French musette Accordions

Can it be used with batteries instead of power cable?

sadly i don't own it anymore but I don't think there is a way of using batteries without modifying the accordion

The problem I had with the instrument was build quality. I had a Transichord and a Transivox. The Transichord was delivered with a cracked circuit board and the contacts kept dropping out in the Transivox. It had galvinised terminals The Transivox looks similar to the Cordivox and used Thomas organ circuitry. I have experienced the same drop out problem in an older Thomas Organ. However the Roland accordions just do so much more than the old ones . A great muesum piece these days, Search Farfisa museum

I’ve been very curious about the timeline of whether the transichord predated the combo organs, since they seem to have shared electronics.
Trying to put together how they developed from the earlier Cordovox 70 valve/tube organ accordions (based on Leslie organ electronics)
