Its not always about mass masala u knob... Part 2 was third rate in all departments (except acting) especially the writing/screenplay was fuck all. Compared to the legendary part 1 this sequel disappoints.

Rahul Bose did brilliant acting. A very solid performance by Rahul Bose. In this age too Kamal Haasan fighted so well in the last scene.

Im a die hard fan of rajinikanth but i have to admit that kamal is genius..
I am also a die hard Rajini fan and used to had an high respect for Kamal for his film making in pre youtube era (Still now I respect him for his ACTING. It is different from film making). But believe me this movie sucks in logic. The pre intermission scenes where they are plotting for an artificial tsunami will not be even determined if there is no forced murder attempt by Indian embassy official and its related scenes also very hard to convince and the way they are detecting the terrorists mission also sucks and climax is lot worser than intermission. A terrorist group fully focusing on killing a mere agent family than executing a clearly planned 64 concurrent bomb blast in US.

That climax battle between Omar (with that background music) and Salim was awesome - and that hospital scene.

The first part was logical and well connected. Why should he go far to unlock the box? He had to open the doors of the crashed cars to save his friends and wife.
It is one of my favorite movie series (Vishwaroopam 1 and 2).
An excellent movie to watch.
Strikes on a lot of present day issues ranging from islamophobia, fake nationalism, reality of Indian independence, corruption, women empowerment and much more.
A well crafted cuisine from kamal hassan to meet the requirements of his audience and to state his way of political thoughts.
If kaala was a practical marketing of politican rajani, viswaroopam is an explanation of kamal politics.

Fantastic Movie. Enjoyed it very much. Only Kamal can bring a Tamil movie to Hollywood level. Notice that there are no songs, which is good; otherwise it would be unrealistic. Good ending with the moral that violence is not the way to go.

if this movie had released rite after the 1st part it wud have been received well, 5 plus years is a long time for a continuation plot. neverthless a gud movie, i enjoyed it.
1:35:56 what an acting, and reaction by KH. No one could every match that acting. Knowing he is the script writer Nd director he still showing a shock in a new level. Until this time tamil cinema wouldn’t have seem such a shock reaction
