Very good points. Nothing beats owning outright. I thought I was finished riding 10 yrs ago when I hit the gas after a stop sign and my mint 1980 XS11 Special spun 300° and busted a rib that still sticks out today. My paid in full 2009 KLR650 will never do that...and I've lost my fear...
Yes sir I agree, Thank you again for taking the time to watch as well as share you stories with us. I understand the delima on the crash as well. I have not mentioned it in any of my videos lately, but I too have a story I will be sharing in November on a similar incident. Thanks again for your continued support, know it is truly appreciated and I hope you have a blessed week.

Enjoyed!
Thanks
Just starting watching your channel and it is very helpful and enjoyable. I currently ride two Harleys but have finally decided to enter in the ADV world. Looking for a KLR650 and just deciding between adventure and base model. Thanks for the video and enjoy the ride.
Oh man thank you for the kind words my friend. I have had a Harley in the past as well as a victory and loved all the bikes I have had in the past. This one just seams to be funner and open more opportunities to "let's go see where that goes" type of rides. Makes it fun to me. If I can help in any wya let me know and please come back and let us know what you decide on. thanks again and have a blessed week.

Your videos are great and informative and I really enjoy them. You always give a lot of good information and you have a way of breaking it down so that everyone can understand and enjoy in the same way. I want to thank you again for taking the time to answer my question.
Thank you so much for the kind words Todd. I truly appreciate the words of encouragement. If i can ever help in any way, let me know, that is truly a goal of mine with the videos is to help others. Well said…feeling the same about my KLR 650.
Thank you sir, it is a great bike and I love it.

What gas milage was you getting? Very important considering gas prices today
I am averaging around 40-49 miles per gallon. A lot of it truly depends on how much of a load I am carrying and the speeds in which i get there. This bike does not like to run 80 MPH, so if the is part of your plan, I would say this bike may not be for you. If you are more inclined to run 55-65, it does great. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment and I Hope you have a blessed week. If I can help answer any other questions, please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to answer. Thanks again.

The Klr does all I need it to. It’s one of the best gravel road bikes I have ever ridden! I owns 2007 and there isn’t anything I can’t fix on this thing, I can’t say that about my Road Glide! Another great video!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I think another fear that I have had on working on the more expensive bikes compares to this statement as well. On the KLR, even if you mess something up working on it, it will still be a cheap fix, which makes it way more easy to work on it without worry. Thank you, I agree with you 100%. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment and I hope you have a blessed weekend.

Where in Michigan? I grew up in Lansing and used to ride to the UP. I live in Friendswood now and just get a KLR 650 2022. Loving it. I’ve been driving a 2018 DCT Goldwing for a year or so and now I have the best bike for dirt and gravel.
Oh man, I was guided by my buddies, so I couldn't tell you the roads we was one, I will say it was awesome, My only regret was we didnt have enouhg time, I should have stayed another week or two, what a wonderful area and I do plan to go back sometime.

I really appreciate this video. I bought a new KLR this last spring and have ridden it over 1200 miles on single day trips. I'm looking forward to some multiday trips next year. I too am very happy with this motorcycle. In the past I rode wild and sometimes crazy dirt bikes and, for about 40 years, big road bikes. In my retirement years I think I'm really going to enjoy this bike. I'm subscribed and recommend your channel to all my old friends. Thank you
I so agree, this is a wonderful Bike. It is great for what it was meant to do and it is an affordable option for us on a fixed income. Oh thank you so so much for that, it truly helps our little channel out more than you know, so thank you for that as well.
I hope you have an awesome week.

Brother I agree 100%. I earned my International drivers license in Germany with a gen.1 and I loved it then. Love the gen.3 even more. This bike is exactly what I need it to be and will go anywhere my skill set will take me. ALL your points are right on the money!! Hope to get to meet and ride with you one day! God bless!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment. It is truly appreciate. So thank you. Yes sir. I am looking forward to it. I hope we can ride together sometime. Be fun. Thanks again and have a blessed week.
