A few weeks ago, my students asked me who were my heroes and I immediately said you, Cara Delevingne, and on of my collegiate rowing teammates Andrea Seifert (also a native of St. Louis) because of much more all of you stand for beyond just being "pretty/beautiful women". I love how much all of you persevere and give of yourselves to what you believe in--Cara with her Girl Up campaign, you with Kode with Klossy, and Andrea with her fight against Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) (a form of Leukemia). Please keep doing what you are doing because it is women like you, Cara, and Andrea that make this world a better place for everyone. In all honesty, and I promise without hyperbole, you give people, both young and old, hope, and for that I cannot thank you enough! Keep Krushing it Girl!

Finally someone who is part of an industry that can come across as very superficial, who has interests and passions outside of modelling! Love the modesty and intelligence in this girl!
I live a few hours away and I have to say that no matter how many times I go to Chicago, I never get bored. There’s such gorgeous architecture, fascinating neighborhoods, history, great shopping, and amazing food! There’s always something to do here!

I grew up in Chicago, and there is a lot to do! Just stay near the city, and don’t go to the ‘bad’ parts of town. That’s where the crime is.
