This tutorial demonstrates how to do the following:
• Create periodic zones.
• Define a specified periodic mass flow rate.
• Model periodic heat transfer with specified temperature boundary conditions.
• Calculate a solution using the pressure-based, pseudo-transient, coupled solver.
• Plot temperature profiles on specified isosurfaces.
Thank you so much! My periodic boundary condition kept diverging. Then i saw this video and realized i needed to switch the solver from SIMPLE to Coupled. Thanks!

hi, is there a way to fix the boundary condition to be periodic everytime opening the project? Currently, everytime when i open the project, i have to type command to make the inlet and outlet periodic.

Great ... but can we use coupled with periodic mass flow ?
sorry,sir, your velocity contours are seems to be wrong. velocity must vary when it moves to downstream end,, it will not repeat as it in the video
Periodic Boundary condition gives the developed flow at the end of the calculation. So the velocity or temperature will not change. That is why the same contour repeats
