I really wanted to see these, so thanks for picking up all the colors. I think I'm aged out of these. They look like they'd really enhance texture. I was surprised to hear you say that RMS is designed by a woman in her 60s. I avoided those blushes last year because I thought they'd be too much. Too pigmented and too blingy. But I've had my eye on French Rose and Maidens Blush for awhile. Might be worth trying. FYI, I snagged that Fantaisie by Chanel last year. It is a beautiful blushlighter. Glad I bought it. I usually layer it over a more matte rose. Gives the whole look a subtle dimension. Thanks for the video.💚
I bought Happy on launch day but I’m interested in Joy, Love and Truth for my light/medium skin tone, just have to watch which brush I use for application, and may use them as a blush topper over a matte blush. I haven’t received my order yet but this has been helpful in preparation. Btw, your skin is perfection 👌🏼
Hi Sofia, I love your beauty review videos. You do take a lot of time to edit between takes on all the different swatches across so many brands which is very much appreciated. Not to say all the individual links you provide for every single product you ever talk about, wear, and use in each video also takes a lot of time! They are incredibly helpful and useful. You even mention specific ingredients that people want to avoid (talc) in your videos. Incredible details! Thank you. We are similar in age and we have somewhat different tastes which is ok, of course. I absolutely love glitter and pink. My main makeup usually consists of Chanel, Dior, and Mac (all the dazzleshow glitters!) I just hope the companies watching your videos just also know that there are people out there who do like glitter even in luxury brands like Chanel and Dior. It seems most people watching your channel also don’t like glitter, but I love your videos and I also love glitter. I haven’t purchased makeup in quite a few years and lately have been buying the Chanel eyeshadows and highlighters from every season because of the sparkles. I haven’t found another reviewer who reviews across so many brands and insert clips of the swatches or even when you are wearing the different shades so we can see what you are talking about at the same time. I know for the Chanel Holiday 2023 eyeshadow palette, I was wondering how it compared to the quad from 2021 and you literally held up the quad from 2021 2 seconds later! Your videos are so comprehensive, helpful, and fun to watch. It's full of vibrant energy. So even though we have different tastes and preferences, I always wait for your videos as a final reassurance.
I feel the rare beauty ones are more like a blush topper there in between a highlighter and blush for me I’m 50 and love the shades bought all 6 so that’s what I’m using them for and so far love them!! Great review!
Glad to hear this - I'm 48 & saw these blushes at Sephora today. They are GORGEOUS! I'm going to try the cool pink Happy shade & also possibly the plum shade. I like how it's a cross between a blush & a highlighter. I love a glowy blush!😍💄💅
I purchased the Cheer and Joy, and I do like them, however RMS is hands down the best and I especially enjoy the RMS Prosecco Fizz highlighter over all other highlighters. The RB Cheer cracked horizontally; it just split. I went to return it and was told this happened to a few others already. Of course, they are out of stock in the store currently.
Thanks! You saved me a bit on these, although you also made it hard to pass because you did a wonderful job with the swatches and wear. I am only passing because I it's just a bit more than my esthetic in my 50s. Wow, they are beautiful and you are rocking them.
I got hooked on the RMS blushes after your review and I love them, and your comparisons of new products to similar products we might already have in our collections are such a big help and much appreciated! Can I ask what foundation you had on during the demos? I assume it wasn't set, since you're not someone that powders heavily? I watched a review from Babs Beauty and Julia Adams and these weren't super flattering on them, even though they both have lovely skin. These all looked really smooth and glowy on you without glitter or texture. Babs Beauty and Julia Adams both powder down their bases and these blushes barely stuck to the skin, were patchy and funky, and texture enhancing. Thank you for your thorough demonstration, comparisons, and descriptions of these blushes. I thought they were a write off based on other reviews, but I think I'm going to pick up Hope based on your review. I love a glowy cheek and in summertime , glowy creams just skip right off so a glowy powder is nice for the hot weather. They all looked lovely on you, you have great skin that really showcases these kinds of products. 😍
I’m definitely in a time in my life where I would rather people compliment my skin and not my makeup. These definitely look like makeup on the skin, so maybe not for me. Thank you for always giving great reviews because more often than not you save me money!
I swatched these a few days ago in Sephora and I was surprised by how insanely pigmented and glowy they were. Hope was also my favourite, I might try and pick it up during the Rouge sale.
Fantastic review on these blushes. I’m in my 60’s and love, love the RMS blushes. So, im on the fence with these new blushes, lol. They do look great on you though.
Thankyou for the comparisons. In my 50's. Bought Cheer & Happy. To me, these are more of a blush topper which is exactly how I'll wesr them, high on the cheek. They're beautiful but I still prefer the RMS blushes.
Hello Kate! This is exactly what I want them for and are the shades of my choice! May I ask the type of your skin complexion?? Are you perhaps neutral light to fair with cool undertones?? 🙏🙏
The fan brush is a great idea with this formula! I’m still very tempted by these but I think my PMG shades get the job done and are just as fabulous! 🤍
Thanks for the thoughtful comparisons! I wanted to get Hope initially, but thought it might be too similar to some other blushes I already had . Then I wanted to get Joy, but after watching your review I like Haus Lab Fire Opal more! Shopping for makeup is so much more fun with you around 😊
Gosh, your comparisons are always on point! Thank you for an amazing review of these blushes! I'd probably go for Cheer, Joy and Hope at some point. And I absolutely need to try RMS.
Oh wow Sofia! Perfect timing now that the Sephora sale is coming. Actually was thinking in getting Cheer, Hope and Joy, but I do have the Chanel blush that is almost identical! So skipping that one and getting Hope and Joy. I must say I love Haus Labs highlighters I finish mine in Sunstone a few weeks ago lol and Joy looks very similar to Fire Opal that I don't have, so which one to get? Rare Beauty price point is good! Great review as always! Xo
These were great comparisons and awesome swatches - best I’ve seen so far I’ve been having super fomo over the Chanel pink blush from last year, but you mentioned glitter … which I don’t like - I was hoping to find a light pink shiny blush- do you think the rms blushes would fill that light pink glossy shine, without glitter need for me? 🧐
Hi Sofia Spot on as usual. I have all the RMS blushes and they are very user friendly for more mature skin so I won’t be getting the blushes from Rare Beauty as I already have her liquid one in Joy and Hope Thanks for your comparisons 🙋♀️🇬🇧
Thanks so much for this fantastic review, Sofia! I think I'll skip these and pick up the RMS blush in French Rosé and the new RMS bronzer when it comes out. I already have the RMS crystal slipper blush and I love it so much! I've only had it since January and already made a serious dent 😂😂
Thank you for the review! I definitely want to pick up a few of these blushes! But I wonder if the French Rose from RMS (which i already own) is similar to Happy?
I'm in the subtle category. Not my box, definitely. I like a very natural, light as you said, skinlike finish. Colors that are bright, but delicate and very blendable. Could you reccommend a glowy blush with a very subtle effect? The rms looks so nice, but I'm afraid it can be too glowy. I don't like a powdery, flat finish and "I can see you're wearing makeup" effect. Fortunately, nowadays it has changed. As a teenager, I remember the formulas were like a mask. Like a paint. I hated the effect. I like colors, occassionally, more pigmented makeup or a wet look, but in general subtle is my go to effect, no matter what is considered. Highlighter, blush or concealer. Maybe you could make a video for people with these preferences. Liked your review. Not 100% pros like some rewievers.
I got Hope and Happy. 7/10, not very pigmented. If you want a blushlighter, I suggest RMS (use 20% code), NABLA (same price), MAC Extra Dimension (30% sale often). More sophisticated formulas. EDIT: or the Iconic London Kissed by Sun or HAUS highlighters!
Hi Sofia, I saw these blushes few days ago because they were displayed close to the front door at Sephora. They are affordable for a larger group of people in comparison with luxury brands and very, I mean VERY shiny. So for people who love disco ball cheeks they are perfection. 😁 Definitely they are a hard pass for me like everything else from this brand.
Great - informative and entertaining review as always. These are a pass for me. I don’t like my cheeks that shiny plus I am happy with my Hourglass and PMG Blushes.
Hourglass blushes by far would have a superior formula. I find that they look less like makeup and more natural on skin. I was surprised even by their strobe formulas (the blushes with “strobe” in the name are reflective) and how even though they were glowy, they never show that glittery look that many other glowy blushes have. These blushes really look natural.
Hourglass blushes look a lot more natural. They don't really show the shine but rather have kind of a blurring effect on the skin. If you are looking for a very natural and subtle looking blush I would recommend them, they are great
I don't use filters. I am one of few creators here that actually uses natural light to film demos. If you have some real feedback as to why you think that or what you would like to see instead feel free to share but don't come to my comments section to throw shade after I've done hours worth of work to provide an honest review.

The RMS blushes are some of my favorite in my collection. These look super metallic to me which isn’t my vibe. They look beautiful on you though!! 💜

Too glittery for me - but they look beautiful on you! Thanks for the thorough review!
Couldn’t agree more on the shades. Wish they had a rms maidens blush or crystal slipper color way in rare beauty
GREAT video. This is the first video I have seen swatching the new RB blushes. Thank you!

Hope you enjoy it!
I saw someone with dark skin swatch all the shades and cheer actually looked beautiful on them!!

I think you might like to try the RMS French Rose! Also they have a slightly deeper and pinker shade called Bermuda Rose :) and no glitter
