Inside the US' New National Security Multi-Mission Vessels

Philly Shipyard recently started building the first of five planned purpose-built, state-of-the-art training vessel for America’s state maritime academies, marking a key milestone in one of the U.S.' most significant shipbuilding programs. In addition to providing world-class training for future mariners, the National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV) will be available to support humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions. The first new NSMV is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.
