@@neardarkroad1347 I am sorry, but as a person who actually studied music, I must say, Yutaka's OST of Vinland Saga is MILES more professional than Attack on Titan's lol VS OST is literally symphonic pieces. You can go and listen to classics like Mozart or Beethhoven in an orchestra hall and it will have the same feel

Sawano has heavy influence from Heavy rock / metal with heavy guitars and organic drums and other rock elements paired with symphonic elements like strings and brass. Sawano doesn't usually use electronic sounds for the drums if at all he does, that is very rare. So for sawano unless he is going full orchestral mostly he has the skeleton set in rock genre. When it comes to Yutaka Yamada he tends to approach it from an electronic music perspective using the instruments like how an electronic musician would do hence all the beautiful sound design stuff that we get to hear from him. And unlike Sawano he hasn't used organic drums at all from whatever I have heard from him. And when it comes to orchestral writing both Sawano and Yamada has their own respective styles which I am equally fan of. But what concerns me from your comment is your confidence in belittling somebody without proper facts. Yamada and Sawano both have full symphonic pieces which are equally good. And adding on to my concern is your claim that you have studied music, which gives me a feeling of this elitist purist mentality of European classical musicians saying unless a piece of music follows so and so rules ,it is not professional enough. If that is the case then idk my friend ,be better. That concern of mine is the reason why I have explained what makes both different in my eyes (or ears idk). Both are my absolute favourites. Cheers!

It's these themes transport you to another place and you forget everything except the scene you're watching. Dual blades play during Thorfinns growing up montage, several other battles and episode fade outs, enter the war plays during thors fight with askeladd. Still blade is another one that has several scenes attached to it.

Idk why but I watched the Anime, but I can´t remember a single one of these Themes.
They are very low volume and sometimes the actual in-show osts are slightly different than the released osts.
