Saw it yesterday. It’s awesome. Don’t understand the critic. Loved the characters, the love story, the chemistry between the (ex) lovers and the new ideas and perfect cgi.
@@italojonas5620 Why? It was better VFX and cgi than in NWH where you can see the dark reflexions in the upper half for example in the mirror dimension scene.
I thought the movie was really shot and directed well. I think the main issue that people have with it is that there were too many stories congested in a short period of time. As a result, we couldn’t get invested in the characters as much as we could have if it was released as a series.
Yessssss, I so love Makari because that was unexpected Thena and Gilgamesh was expected to have a great fight scenes since we saw them both on action movies, Ikaris was also great
The movie is good, not perfect but I'm pretty sure this would have been perfect if it was a Disney Plus series. I love the Eternals and they all look and feel interesting. Just wish we would have seen them more.
Yeah i was talking to my friend about this and I was like maybe as series so like the beginning with all those flashback clips then like a couple of episodes for them to get the whole group back together then the ending
Agreed. The thing it both suffered from and needed to be better was drawing out the character development. There was far too much in the movie and it made it drag out sometimes, but there still wasn't enough really (especially for certain characters) and if it'd been a series they could've done that really well.
Why Druig and Barry didn't have much exposure... He's my favourite 😭 and probably new fan favourite too. I find less interviews of him with other cast, why they do him dirty... (Or maybe Barry's just super busy) I just hope we get to see Druig's character more in the future and Druig with his beautiful beautiful Makkari

maybe it's because of batman. i don't know at what point they're in shooting the movie, but he's in it as a police officer and people have theories that he's actually going to become one of the villains such as joker or the riddler and so he's probably very busy with that too.

I like how Gemma said 5 of them are the thinkers and 5 are more fighters. Cause it really just proves why Sersi was more equipped to take over from Ajax rather than Ikarus. Cause Sersi is more logical and a thinker while Ikarus is the brawn and a fighter not the logic and plan maker
Tbf, you can’t blame Ikaris for his flow of thoughts and logic. To him, he was literally supposed to carry out Arishem’s order and he truly believed his purpose.

No. If you clearly watched the movie, the Eternals were sent to Earth so that they could not just evolve, but really to populate the planet. That's why they were sent there to fight Deviants so that human evolution and population will not be stopped easily. Arishem needed the planet to have many inhabitants so the Celestial that is about to be born on Earth will accumulate its energy needed.
Just watched Eternals today: I love it very much! It's a superhero movie that is intelligent, beautiful, complex, and makes you think and reflect after the film. All the naysayers are just spoilt from watching all the previous "eyes open, brain shut down" Marvel movies where they can simply turn off their minds while viewing the films
Despite the haters say about this movie, I really enjoyed the whole experience. They say that there were too many characters, personalities in one movie, but I guess I understood them all quickly unlike them.

I don't usually watch a movie more than once as I seem to get everything the first time. But on rare occasions, I'll watch a movie twice. I HAD to watch Eternals twice to get everything, the scope and the stories were that big. I love the scene where we first see Ikaris, walking out with a powerful strut and working that coat and then the meetup with his GOT brother, Kit Harrington. TOO COOL!
I mean, this is as heady as Marvel will allow it's movies to go. Having said that, this is probably the only Marvel movie that I think truly has some weight to it on rewatch. Easter eggs and cool effects don't cut it. A little more brain and a little more heart is really all it took. I really hope, if they do a second one, they'll allow Zhao to take the reins again
holy cow, Chloe Zhao must be an AMAZING director, because I've already seen two different actors say that if they could only work with one director for the rest of their lives it would be her.
Whichever side he would’ve taken, the other side would’ve lost easily which would be boring. Also his reasoning fits his character, he agreed with Ikaris but didn’t want his beliefs to cause harm on his family unlike Ikaris who would do anything for his beliefs, such as killing Ajak. Even Sprite was able to stab Sersi with no fear that’s why she went with Ikaris, Kingo is a softy human like character so can’t inflict harm easily
kinda spoiler but also not if you paid attention, Kingo is pretty much given in to Ikaris since if he'd fight against Ikaris he'd rather give up because he knows Ikaris would win easily. And Ikaris flying into the sun wouldn't matter much as he'll just revive/reborn as the Eternals can't die and will reborn without the memories. So, if they return. Ajak will be back as well and Ikaris. Kinda spoiler ish but, they've already said in the movie that they can't die. p.s Also the reason why the movie started with Ikaris introducing himself to Sersi even though they've known each other already. (like Thena said about the world's destruction) they probably died as stated and thus reborned without memories (except Ajak i think)

It was a long movie but it had enough funny moments and action scenes to not feel boring, especially with a good cast. I enjoyed the movie and really looking forward to everything coming together. I think a true fan would enjoy every Marvel movie, especially knowing how its connects with every other Marvel movies. But even my girlfriend said she liked the movie, and shes not even a movie person, let alone a marvel fan

Where is Barry? The only reason I was able to finish this dragged-out movie the minor characters - Makkari and Druig who had more personality and charisma than the washed-out Sersi and Ikaris.
Just watched it on disney plus yes the plot was very odd even for a company that wrote something like a dance breakdown for a movie closure. But dude the effect was absolutely amazing. Sometimes flying scene are way too hard to watch you know it's just weird and cringey but everytime icarus appeared roaming on the air? Woah every scene look absolutely epic. Cant wait for more eternals
its not easy to have 10 characters. But waddafxck is kit harrington's role. It was so miniscule that even karun had more screen time. This movie should have been called Karun's Wild Adventures.
This movie was amazing and they picked the best cast ever the fighting was great and also to know that couldn’t interfere with anything was great bc if they did the some of the avengers would of gotten an alert somewhere and they would realise they are only ones that can help save people and that the eternals just let the humans to the work for them plus Angelina Jolie needs more recognition bc I heard on Insta a few months ago that she helped Lauren Ridloff with a few scenes with a laser pointer bc she was struggling with a few scenes

I finally got to see this movie yesterday and boy did it not disappoint!! Loved it and will watch it again at least one more time, probably more.
Ikaris shouldnt have suicided and Kingo shouldve been in the final fight
