Well, they shot average this game, but only the threat of having one of them alone to shoot from beyound the arch is enough to drive defenders crazy and open up spaces for drives.

The narrative for Lakers this season isn't to win a Championship, it's for Lebron to pass Kareem on the scoring list, that's all that matters now especially for him. It was only game one of the season but that was somehow made abundantly clear.
And that's very bad for young players in the team
I don't think LeBron played bad at all. He droped 31 pts with 14 rebounds and 8 assists, not far from a triple double. His 3PT shooting was average and so was the whole teams. He had a few turnovers but that's always the case. The only difference tonight was that GSW hit from beyond the arc and LAL didn't. That's a loss.
Its really sad how true this is... idk if its coming mainly from LeBron telling the team that he wants to focus on passing Kareem or the team just gave up and LeBron might as well focus on his numbers

Dang Golden State got some marksmen. They have all the scoring bases covered, 3 pointers, mid range jumper, and in the paint shooting with precision.
Miserable bench, this is another dark season, Meanwhile, Drummond rebound in Chicago, Kuzma Scoring in Washington, KCP Scoring 3-p in Denver, Griffin playing in Boston (could be a great player un second unit), Brook López Scoring in Milwaukee, only very bad decisions

I really don't know what to say. The Lakers have been my team since I was 9. I remember seeing the game that Kareem got the all-time scoring record. Losing seasons don't bother me, everyone has them. Some teams even have awful seasons. But what happened last year.. and most likely this is inexcusable. The only thing some fans are looking towards is the breaking of Kareem's record... I am not looking forward to it because... it's LeBron.
I have grown to be a Warriors fan since 2016, it might be time to make them number 1.

If you don't have mid and long range game, you ARE bad.
It all starts with the defense. Warriors defense is just better and puts more pressure on the opponents' offense. But yes, there's also the fact that GSW have some of the best shooters in this league. And even if Lebron can hit the occasional 3, his game is bullying through the lane and dunking, or scoring on layups.
It's really not that LA is that bad. It's a better improvement from last. Its about the fact that 8 other teams in the West are better than them. That's what they playing for is just a playoff spot
this will be a long and joyfull season for Dubs fans

i guess the logic is that in the first step, which is the right jab step in front of bron, the ball isn’t back in his left hand yet. so the first of the 3 legal steps he could take is the left foot going back, followed by the right foot, and another step back for the left foot. that foot is then established as the pivot foot so the right foot stepping back isn’t considered a travel.
Gather step rule. It‘s a few years old. And as far as I know, we in Europe have introduced the same rule. Which basically gives you one more step, if timed well.

Look where and how all this young players theyve given up are playin today. They gave all this players up to acquire AD , and look where the team are today. AD is a lazy player. They should just package Westbrook and AD by trade dealine, and just TANK all the way to Kingdowm come so they can draft that 7-4 frenchman Webnami... ya whatever his name is.
