this song is really deep and i love it but it can be a little confusing because you might think lyrics like "i'm in love with non-reality" and "people without faces or voices" are talking about the internet and people online, but i think you have to keep in mind that this is during route xx, and shintaro is constantly thinking about ayano and his days with her. therefore, even though maybe on some level those lyrics ARE talking about the internet, i think an important double-meaning is at play in that "non-reality" is also shintaro's memory, and "people without faces or voices" can also mean memories (sure, you can remember faces and voices, but they can't talk back to you). memories can't love you back, and ene's trying to pull shintaro back to the present!
I think Marry's Fictional World is more forgotten about... or Dead and Seek, or maybe even Shinigami Record. But I love this song now! It's really catchy :D

Ah. I get it now. The first half of the song is Route 1, then the instrumental happens where everything resets and goes back to Route XX, where Shintaro deletes Ene. Then as he mourns for Ene, everything resets and he's back to Route 1 where Ene smiles back at him and he goes outside with her.
flying sashimi But in the end, Shintaro deletes Ene. As he puts his hand back on the monitor, she reappears-- smiling even. I don't think she'd be smiling at Shintaro so happily if she remembered that he deleted her a second ago. My best theory was that it reset at that moment, because one of the brigade members died. Plus, it leaves off on a happy note before the instrumental. But, it's quite confusing to argue about, since this isn't even an official PV.
Bittersweet Cake Hey, sorry for the late reply. Welcome to the fandom! Route ‘XX’ is just a place number for the amount of times they had to go through a time loop to get Route 1. There’s quite a few examples of different Route XX, although not as evident in the anime, the manga and songs show Route XX. Basically, for the people who don't know: The girl is Ene, a cybergirl who once was human, known as Takane Enomoto. The boy is Shintaro Kisaragi. Ene loved a boy named Haruka when she was still alive, but she died before she could confess. Then Shintaro's best friend, Ayano, died. Ayano was like his only reason of thinking positively, so when Ayano died, Shintaro didn't want to forget her, so he became a NEET. Ene felt sympathy for Shintaro, since she was friends with Ayano, Haruka, and him when she was still alive. Any questions?

In an Era where Vtubers are more popular than ever and the state of my mind is more unstable than ever, this feels more relatable than when I was 14 which is 8 years ago
I ship Shintaro/Ene, but I don't see this song as a sign of romance. In particular, I don't see Ene's loyalty to Shintaro (in this video, at least) as one of love. I think the following lines are evidence of this: "Of course, though, that can't be a mutual love... Still, that's the way it goes..." "To drown in the dark, withered days, must no doubt be painful..." Here, Ene empathizes with the pain Shintaro feels, as she's gone through similar feelings herself. Once you've gone through something painful, you don't want anyone else to go through those same, harrowing emotions. You understand when they lash out or bury themselves away, and you want to alleviate their pain. That's what Ene wants to do for Shintaro. Of course, you could argue that these lines reflect nothing but sympathy, but I'd disagree due to the following lines: "How does it sound living together in a world fabricated by men?" "Just say NO to everything, and only look at me." You don't go this far out of simple sympathy. And, I personally think you wouldn't do this out of a mere request either (by this, I mean Ayano's request to Takane to look after Shintaro). Ene knows how painful it is for Shintaro, and she's providing a route of escape for him-- the cyberworld (she herself being part of it). Naturally, I'd think she knows that escapism is not the answer. After all, Ene suffered from not being able to confess her feelings, which happened because she shut it away and pretended it didn't exist, until it was too late. But she also knows the comfort of escapism, and how once in a while people just need to resort to it to stop letting the pain fester at everything. Right now, it's not like Shintaro is facing his problems; he's just reliving the moments and regretting everything. To wrap up that lengthy conjecture, I think this song is a representation of platonic loyalty, rather than some budding romance. But it does provide the reason for why I love ShinEne so much. I love the changes both of them bring out in each other, whether that be pretty or ugly. I like how Ene overcame her dishonest self, and built up a resilient front in order to support Shintaro. And I love how ultimately Shintaro "gets over" (quotations because he doesn't, but he learns to not let the pain consume him 24/7) his past. I know Haruka and Ayano have brought out significant changes in Ene and Shintaro, respectively, but I think it's appropriate for them to move on. The theme of Kagerou Project, as I gathered from the last music video, is acceptance and progress. And I think that progress is better achieved when they learn from their prior encounters, and find new ones, especially when it's so arduous to forcefully rekindle the old ones. Another thing is that I really can't get behind ShinAya, because Shintaro seemed too dependent on Ayano. The moment Ayano left his life, he just fucking crumbled. ShinEne isn't like that. Ene plays a part in Shintaro's change, but she's not the only motivator. There are other, outside influences, such as joining the Mekakushi Dan and finding out the truth. With Ayano (even with the quartet), he only opened up to her. With Ene, he learned to trust others. Hence, I like to think that even if ShinEne did become a thing, and Ene disappeared for whatsoever reason, Shintaro would still live on. I like co-dependency, but not to such an extreme that one can't survive without the other. (Of course, I know a lot of this has to do with timing. If, perhaps, Shintaro met Takane first and was supported by Ayano afterwards, I might be saying something different. I do think circumstances play a huge role in a pairing; I don't think personalities and chemistry should be the only factors.) TL;DR: I'm a ShinEne fangirl.
I agree I think whenever she says this cant be mutual love I think she means that they both loved someone they will never meet again, Ayano is dead and the one she loved she was separated from.
Your starting in the right place, so after listening to the songs I would recommend the Manga, then light novel then anime to catch up on the story in order
Me being a dying ass watching the anime: wtf just happened. Me 1 year later after discovering the manga: wait a second. Me now which when I discovered the manga: U want me to listen to a lot of songs, read the whole manga and read the novel and watch the anime? I'm in.

@@thagalinikarunamoorthy9985 the Manga is Just so confusing... ***!!!Spoiler warning!!!*** First, Kano gets shot, then He IS alive again later?! Kido dies, is alive again?! Wot?!
Not going to lie, I have been listening to this song on repeat for hours now. This is legit one of those songs that you can put on repeat and not get annoyed by. To be fair, I have been doing homework while listening, so it may be because it's background noise, but I still keep playing repeat. Great song.
Holy shit i’ve listened to this for a few years without ever looking up the lyrics or translation. Now that accidentally did, im shocked at how dark it is LMAO. Also hits different when you understand some of the words
I was a big fan of these songs many years ago, and now even though I don't listen this kind of music anymore, I come back once in a while to check how much have I changed and because of all the memories it brings along. Time certainly is a scary thing...
To be honest, I think the music ends when Shintaro smashes his phone with Ene inside it, and the door opening part is basically a lead in, saying the xx route has ended, and a new loop is starting.
Loved listening to this song back in 2016, found it again and the lyrics have started resonating deeply with my current life situation. Life sure hurts sometimes
This song is a good "starter song". It gets you into the series, although you may be confused. It is interesting, and you may talk about it to your friends. It gets the series popular. And let's not even mention the melody!
Really glad that you uploaded this.. Best PV for Jinzou Enemy, by far. I never enjoyed the others, and this PV just made the song a whole lot better for me.
After having rewatched the anime and read a few of the manga volumes in the past I think im finally ready to rejoin this fandom but this time from the very beginning
I'll try to explain for you. Shintarou has already technically died. Originally he was as you see in this song, depressive to the point where he deleted Ene and later committed suicide. Only to be reborn in the haze. Ene has the ability travel through time. She goes back to the past and tells herself to change the way she acts so she can save him. That was all Route XX, the manga starts in the new life where Ene's pranks force him to buy a new computer, and meet Mekakushi-Dan so he isn't lonely.
@@livinginnonreality2332 I'll help you out, but know that I didn't finish either manga nor LN, just know the base story. So, remember how in Mekakucity Actors, the intelligent snake mentions the story never ending and creating a time loop? Each medium of the story followed a different route. LN had one route, they failed, world got reset. Manga had one route, they failed again, world got reset. Anime is the one time they beat the snake and stopped the loop. I don't remember where Route X is from, but yeah it's a bad end where Shintaro couldn't deal with Ayano's death, deleted Ene, killed himself. From my understanding, the guy above is wrong as fuck and Ene never had time travel abilities. Shintaro died, The group couldn't beat the snake without Shintaro, more tragedies and the world was reset once more.
Imagine if KagePro had morals in their songs. Transparent answer - If you're a jerk you won't have friends. Shounen Brave/Imagination Forest - If a girl is crying tell them to shut up and give them an mp3. Outer science - At one point in your live's everyone you love will die. Ayano's Theory of Happiness - If your dad is possessed kill him while you can. Jinzou enemy - Living in a computer sucks. Kisaragi attention - If you're a famous person.... JUST STAY AT HOME. Yuukei Yesterday - If you like someone JUST TELL THEM. Yobanashi Deceive - Don't lie or else you'll become possessed. Lost time memory - Scissors are bad. But sometimes let you visit you're crush in heaven...? Summertime Record - Sick people are good at drawing. Otsukimi Recital - If your friend is sad throw coke on them to make them tell you what happened. Blindfold code - Taking blindfolds off doesn't do anything? The color red is pretty? I'm tired :D Ene's cybernetic journey - Being killed by your teacher and having you mind erased from your body also sucks. Dead and seek - I say this again, IF YOU HAVE A POSSESSED DAD. KILL HIM WHILE YOU CAN. Children record - How should I know? Half of Jin's songs are just music farting rainbow skittles! Shinigami Record - Don't trust snake people. Mary's fictional world - You just have to face that everyone you love WILL DIE. DEAL WITH IT MARY. Headphone actor - Music is OP. Konoha's State of the World - Your only friends are dead, deal with it. Go make new ones. Heat Haze Days - If you want to hang out with your crush, do it in a indestructible, confined area with no trucks. Wow... I only meant to do like two or three of these. FEED ME. I NEED PAPER. Wait.... what? I'm sorry. This is what happens when my parents don't feed me. I knew I shouldn't have drank my lifetime supply of ShintoCoke in one day. Well... i'm gonna pass out noaawddddddddddddddddddddssssssssssssssssssssssxxxxxxxxxxxxxccccccccccccccvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvdsssssssssssssssdffffffffffffffffffgggggggggggggggggg Repaste this on every Kagerou Project related video you can find. :D
You know they do have morals, right? The general theme of the album is the importance of moving forward. Matching your order (and omitting the ones I'm not really super acquainted with): Transparent Answer is about Shintaro moving on from being depressed about how meaningless the world is to... being depressed about Ayano's death (it sets the stage, shut up.) Imagination Forest is about Marry moving into the world. Outer Science is "IF YOU DON'T MOVE FORWARD ALL YOUR FRIENDS WILL DIE FOREVER", the song. Ayano's Theory of Happiness is about her moving on and leaving the Mekakushi-dan behind to... save the world or whatever. Jinzou Enemy shows what happens when Shintaro is unable to move on from losing his friend(s) Kisaragi Attraction is about... being... an idol. Yuukei Yesterday is about what happens when you stay in one place. The boy you like turns into some kind of emotionless potato. Yobanashi Deceive is about what's-his-name's inability to move on from being a lying dick. Lost Time Memory exhibits this most perfectly with the two routes-- the good end is the one where Shintaro moves on from Ayano's death and makes friends, and the bad end is the one where he stays miserable. Summertime Record is about the importance of moving on even when it's difficult. Otsukimi Recital is about Hibiya(?) moving on from watching his friend die repeatedly for numerous decades, moving on from her to Momo. Blindfold Code is word salad. Children Record is... basically the "moving forward power song". It might be semantically meaningless but it's all about that shit. Headphone Actor is about Tak(ene) moving on from her false world and waking up. Konoha no Sekai Jijou is about Konoha moving on from being an emotionless potato to being a weird potato. Kagerou Days is about Hibiya's difficult decision to move the world along at the cost of his own life. So yeah, a couple of these are just character songs, but KagePro /has/ a narratively significant theme.
***** Actually things are sort of different in Japan...You see Shintaro became what we like to call a NEET. A NEET is somebody who is out of school and unemployed, generally they never really leave their house. They can exist everywhere, however generally it's easier for high schoolers to become like this in Japan due to the way the school system works. NEETS/Hikimori are typically seen as shameful and burdens on society. Sometimes Family members like to pretend they don't exist when they have company over, as that would bring shame on the household. Point being, it's unlikely that Shinatro's Sister and Mother (Dad's out the the picture) understood what Shintaro was going through (it's implied his sister is PISSED at him) It's more likely that they just didn't give a shit. Also Shinatro seemed to show signs of depression and apathy long before Ayano died, It was just her death that pushed him completely over the edge due to her being one of the only positive influences in his life.
Random Fluffy Happy Person I have hopes for Mekakucity Reload (its new and definitely a must check out for kagepro fans, it is directed by a trustwprthy dood so I have faith in it coming out as a good show) :D
I feel like I'd be more confused if I get too deep into this (all of this). But imma anyways, so I read the manga first(In one day I feel accomplished). I heard there's a novel so I'll do that next but I need a break. So apparently everytime the whole group or atleast a majority dies, Mary resets the world. They die first before gaining their abilities. At first I thought it was 'get a nightmare then powers granted' lol. The main pairs should be obvious, so its Haruka(Konoha) and Takane(Ene), Ayano and Shintaro, Kano and Kido, Seto and Mary, and Momo shall be forever alone ig. That's pretty much all I picked up from the manga, it covers their backstories and whatnot but since the world is on reset by the end i guess their backstory will be changed too, in the 'next' world.
This has been one of the most interesting songs to watch; I don't think I've ever seen a song evolve through what, now 3 or 4 different animations interpreting it as more and more information about Ene and Shintarou comes out? Truly amazing. x3
When I first listened to this song I was like, yeah ok whatever just another song in the kagepro series. But I read deeply into the lyrics and actually started crying noticing how depressing it is, especially in the beginning: When your dreams have gone, Then why repeat the daily grind? There is no point in it... A fantastic thing to say... And you too, I'm in love with non-reality. You say it with your fingers, Though your mouth says nothing... **Cries**
Because of the "non-reality" part and the vibe about "regret" and "sleeping in" and also "escapism", i thought of OMORI again. Kagepro and OMORI really give off the similar vibes!
naryle I glad we think the same way. I spend 1/3 of my time on the internet going through Harutaka and Konoene photos and squealing my head off. I send alot of them to my friends and they question why we are even friends in the first place.
Takanes is too tsundere for Shintoro, and Haruka and Ene are like 21 while Shintoro and Ayano are 18 I CAN SEE TARUKA BABIES AND SHYANO BABIES with METO BABIES AND KANDIO yessss
@@sleepieste where is it? Im still confused af how can I find out what happen in the main routes which they say is route 1 and route XX? I mean the songs have mixed route right... im sorry im new XD
I'm not sure how many people are going to see this but a few years back I found MCA (I think is the acronym, I cant spell it off the top of my head, apologies) but I never got to get super far and then I was searching for it for awhile. But now I've found out that theres much more to the series than just that so I'm super excited to delve into all of it! It seems like a dope series so, maybe I'll come back here at some point, who knows
Okay, here are some lyrics for people who want them, “When your dreams have gone, Then why repeat the daily grind? There’s no point in it.” A fantastic thing to say… And you too: “I’m in love with Non-Reality.” You say it with your fingers, Though your mouth says nothing. People without faces and voices, Yet you feel some connection with them; Of course, though, That can’t be a mutual love… Still, that’s the way it goes, Closing out another day, But you pretend to have lived, And then go to sleep… Ah, it’s such a bore, So you try to avert your eyes, Even though you can’t close them. Hey, considering you refuse to acknowledge it, Are you wearing a bored face again As you watch me behind the screen? That’s not the best plan of action, And I know you know it. To drown in the dark, Withered days Must no doubt be painful. If reality isn’t a lie, then what is it? If you don’t understand, then… How does it sound living together In a world fabricated by man? Part 2 Is there any point to a place That would only deny you? Just say NO to everything, and only look at me. “Ah, truly fantastic.” you can clap for me, But lies have filled The outside with junk. Say, since you’re buried deep in it To the point of pain, Then why are your eyes averted now, Looking at me coldly? That’s not the best plan of action, And I know you know it too. At the end of it, You know you’ll find A boundless isolation… As you repeat your days In a room without light, I begin to crumble, And my noise resounds… “I don’t understand this at all,” I cried, and you said to me, “As a toy for only talking to, I’ve gotten bored of you…”
@President Alfred is actually right, route XX is referring to the 'never ending world' (time repeating world) that's why Hibiya was trapped in a time loop, so was the others (like Shintarou) in the Mekakushi Dan.
Wow this is really the best PV I've seen for Jinzou Enemy; I really didn't like the previously popular one because it was extremely inaccurate with what the song was about, but this one hit it pretty spot on. I really love the ending too, though it's a bit misleading; it hints that Ene escaped the deletion when in reality Route 1 is a different timeline altogether. Still, though, loved it!
As for the series itself, it's really interesting. There's currently a manga in progress called 'Kagerou days' that follows the story of Shintaro (and Ene) and his encounters with Mekakushi dan (The blindfold gang). There's also a large number of songs connected to this series that I'd highly recommend checking out.
There's multiple fanmade PVs, this being one of them.c: There's no official PV for this song as of yet, but I'm hoping there will be one made really soon.

some say she's a miku, but she's not a miku, She is just simply an Ene.
Or a Takane, but that's a spoiler for another day!
Or a corpse. :)
Kuroha Kokonose Oh my god whai aargh--!! ;0;
Kuroha Kokonose go home you're drunk!!
The Stig's Japanese Cousin Before this song became a series, she was supposed to be a Miku though.
I ship Shintaro/Ene, but I don't see this song as a sign of romance. In particular, I don't see Ene's loyalty to Shintaro (in this video, at least) as one of love. I think the following lines are evidence of this:
"Of course, though, that can't be a mutual love... Still, that's the way it goes..."
"To drown in the dark, withered days, must no doubt be painful..."
Here, Ene empathizes with the pain Shintaro feels, as she's gone through similar feelings herself. Once you've gone through something painful, you don't want anyone else to go through those same, harrowing emotions. You understand when they lash out or bury themselves away, and you want to alleviate their pain. That's what Ene wants to do for Shintaro. Of course, you could argue that these lines reflect nothing but sympathy, but I'd disagree due to the following lines:
"How does it sound living together in a world fabricated by men?"
"Just say NO to everything, and only look at me."
You don't go this far out of simple sympathy.
I do think circumstances play a huge role in a pairing; I don't think personalities and chemistry should be the only factors.)
TL;DR: I'm a ShinEne fangirl.
I agree I think whenever she says this cant be mutual love I think she means that they both loved someone they will never meet again, Ayano is dead and the one she loved she was separated from.
I know this is two years late but still
I just joined the fandom, I’m trying to follow the story… I have no fucking clue what’s going on but it slaps-
Your starting in the right place, so after listening to the songs I would recommend the Manga, then light novel then anime to catch up on the story in order
just starting now too. the song's really good
started as well rn bc ive unknowingly listened to like 5 of the kagerou project songs?? equally as confused as u r lmao
songs do slap tho
2023 and only now I learnd that Mekakucity Actors was a part of a project and not a standalone thing
YOOOOO WELCOME TO THE CULT
Me being a dying ass watching the anime: wtf just happened.
Me 1 year later after discovering the manga: wait a second.
Me now which when I discovered the manga: U want me to listen to a lot of songs, read the whole manga and read the novel and watch the anime? I'm in.
Now I will never see scissors the same way ever again.
TheSingingBUn i dont get it.... (well, i watched the anime ONLY since idk bout the songs and now, i still dont understand the story)
mind helping me out?
Ken Kaneki The manga and LN are the answer because the anime was a bit rushed.

Okay, since I'm just starting out with the Kagerou Project, should I read the manga or listen to the songs first?
Shattered Haven I would recommend listening to all songs first, or listen to half of the song series before start reading the manga at least.
Kogami Thank you! I'll start right away.
Shattered Haven They also have the anime if you're interested in that. It's called Mekakucity Actors.
Is the anime finished?
Shattered Haven
Yup! There are 12 episodes in total.
KEEP THIS FANDOM ALIVE I AM BEGGING ALL OF YOU-
the link to the guide is super helpful. YOU SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME CREATING MY OWN GUIDE THANK YOU
Not going to lie, I have been listening to this song on repeat for hours now. This is legit one of those songs that you can put on repeat and not get annoyed by. To be fair, I have been doing homework while listening, so it may be because it's background noise, but I still keep playing repeat. Great song.
Toothian y e s
Agreed.
happy kagepro day!
2020, keep Kagepro alive!!!!
I come back to watch ShinEne. Never get enough of them.
ikr? I just love shipping them
this.
is the story of otakus trying to delete their anime files XD
TRUE!
Thank you
Oh my gosh XD
Holy shit i’ve listened to this for a few years without ever looking up the lyrics or translation. Now that accidentally did, im shocked at how dark it is LMAO. Also hits different when you understand some of the words
I was a big fan of these songs many years ago, and now even though I don't listen this kind of music anymore, I come back once in a while to check how much have I changed and because of all the memories it brings along.
Time certainly is a scary thing...
This song only gets more and more sad every time i watch it. especially once you actually know whats going on.
The Anime makes so much sense after watching all of these.
This song lives rent free in my head tbh
To be honest, I think the music ends when Shintaro smashes his phone with Ene inside it, and the door opening part is basically a lead in, saying the xx route has ended, and a new loop is starting.
Judah Osboja he deletes her
The song that started it all ,,, happy kagepro day!!
Is only me or I got pissed at Him for deleting her until I realized he was crying too......
Yeah, because he liked her, and now he was alone again
This song is now ten years old. The project is ten years old.
i cant believe i'm still in this fanbase. ever since 2014, and continuing forward!
Loved listening to this song back in 2016, found it again and the lyrics have started resonating deeply with my current life situation. Life sure hurts sometimes
Fun fact the first episode is named this song, artificial (jinzou) enemy
Ahaha ENEmy.... That jokes probably been made already .-.
But its funny every time!
Happy Kagerou Daze 2020!
I can't stop watching! I have to keep replaying this song it's so amazing! Besides being SUPER catchy it has a deep meaning.
The Kagerou Project songs have become my favourite songs x3 but I wish there were more songs involving Momo and Hibiya rwr
After having rewatched the anime and read a few of the manga volumes in the past I think im finally ready to rejoin this fandom but this time from the very beginning
still kagepro-ing in 2022 i must be insane
Hey is kagerou project finished?
3:58: "that was supposed to cancel me? Bitch please"

The lead up to the chorus has similarities to the lead up to the second chorus of Lost Time Memory (Where Shintaro deletes Ene).
I'm so in love with this song.
Hell of a masterpiece (im referring to the entire Kagerou Project)
It's that day of the year again!!
this song reminds me of how i would skype all day long, and basically listen to a voice of a person on the other side of who knows.
hey i'm listening to this in the 10th anniversary of this song (and all kagepro btw) and this hits twice
Happy August 15th!!
Oh! This is relatable!! Anyways, happy kagerou day!!
What does "Route X" mean? I have only seen the anime but if there is a manga/anime about their previous lives I would love to read/see that.
@@livinginnonreality2332 as for the Manga and Light Novel, yes they both exist under the name "Kagerou Daze/Kagerou Project"
I'm scared, I'm following a guide right now, but my heart is going to be broken in this I just know it
Imagine if KagePro had morals in their songs.
I'm tired :D
Ene's cybernetic journey - Being killed by your teacher and having you mind erased from your body also sucks.

Beautiful
You know they do have morals, right? The general theme of the album is the importance of moving forward.
Matching your order (and omitting the ones I'm not really super acquainted with):
Transparent Answer is about Shintaro moving on from being depressed about how meaningless the world is to... being depressed about Ayano's death (it sets the stage, shut up.)
Imagination Forest is about Marry moving into the world.
Outer Science is "IF YOU DON'T MOVE FORWARD ALL YOUR FRIENDS WILL DIE FOREVER", the song.
Ayano's Theory of Happiness is about her moving on and leaving the Mekakushi-dan behind to... save the world or whatever.
Jinzou Enemy shows what happens when Shintaro is unable to move on from losing his friend(s)
Kisaragi Attraction is about... being...
So yeah, a couple of these are just character songs, but KagePro /has/ a narratively significant theme.
fucking keyboard warrior...
m9 it had to have been said

I'm obbessed with song right now. It seems like every once in a while I fall for yet another kag pro song.
Ene Takane
The reason for him staying in his room was because Ayano died.
I guess his parents know that too which is why they let him do so.
Edo Nagori Well I'm embarrassed as fuck, considering the fact that I'm Japanese and I totally forgot that. XD
It's all good XD
Edo Nagori but , one thing I want to know . why it is easy for Japan high schoolers to become hikimori because how the school system work in Japan ?
I can't wait for the anime
Yeah *u*
It was meh. Not a masterpiece, but worth the watch for KagePro fans.
Random Fluffy Happy Person I have hopes for Mekakucity Reload (its new and definitely a must check out for kagepro fans, it is directed by a trustwprthy dood so I have faith in it coming out as a good show) :D
HELP Sounds good! I'm in ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
HELP WHEREE
Truly amazing. x3
i just found this song and it resonates with me in an unintended way which i wont get into but i just wanna say this is amazing
When I first listened to this song I was like, yeah ok whatever just another song in the kagepro series.
But I read deeply into the lyrics and actually started crying noticing how depressing it is, especially in the beginning:
When your dreams have gone,
Then why repeat the daily grind?
There is no point in it...
A fantastic thing to say...
And you too,
I'm in love with non-reality.
You say it with your fingers,
Though your mouth says nothing...

2021 now! Time for me to go re-read and watch everything all over again lol
happy anniversary to the og release! 12 years wow
Because of the "non-reality" part and the vibe about "regret" and "sleeping in" and also "escapism", i thought of OMORI again. Kagepro and OMORI really give off the similar vibes!

Just A Dude damn I missed it
Definitely my top fave of the Kagero Project.
I love the interaction between Shintaro and Ene.
Shinene or Enetaro? :3
It’s been almost 10 years since I was here, let’s see if I’m rejoining the fandom this time around!
3:43 Shintaro you bastard
He doesn't. In the manga, Ene prefers not to talk about it, but the recent manga chapters are expanding her past.
Okay, here are some lyrics for people who want them,
“When your dreams have gone,
Then why repeat the daily grind?
There’s no point in it.”
A fantastic thing to say…
And you too:
“I’m in love with Non-Reality.”
You say it with your fingers,
Though your mouth says nothing.
People without faces and voices,
Yet you feel some connection with them;
Of course, though,
That can’t be a mutual love…
Still, that’s the way it goes,
Closing out another day,
But you pretend to have lived,
And then go to sleep…
Ah, it’s such a bore,
So you try to avert your eyes,
Even though you can’t close them.
Hey, considering you refuse to acknowledge it,
Are you wearing a bored face again
As you watch me behind the screen?
That’s not the best plan of action,
And I know you know it.
To drown in the dark,
Withered days
Must no doubt be painful.
If reality isn’t a lie,
then what is it?
If you don’t understand, then…
How does it sound living together
In a world fabricated by man?
Part 2
Is there any point to a place
That would only deny you?
Just say NO to everything,
and only look at me.
“Ah, truly fantastic.”
you can clap for me,
But lies have filled
The outside with junk.
Say, since you’re buried deep in it
To the point of pain,
Then why are your eyes averted now,
Looking at me coldly?
That’s not the best plan of action,
And I know you know it too.
At the end of it,
You know you’ll find
A boundless isolation…
As you repeat your days
In a room without light,
I begin to crumble,
And my noise resounds…
“I don’t understand this at all,”
I cried, and you said to me,
“As a toy for only talking to,
I’ve gotten bored of you…”
yup~

@President Alfred is actually right, route XX is referring to the 'never ending world' (time repeating world) that's why Hibiya was trapped in a time loop, so was the others (like Shintarou) in the Mekakushi Dan.
I listen Vocaloid for a long time
Now its time to Join this Fandom

You really late
Wow this is really the best PV I've seen for Jinzou Enemy; I really didn't like the previously popular one because it was extremely inaccurate with what the song was about, but this one hit it pretty spot on. I really love the ending too, though it's a bit misleading; it hints that Ene escaped the deletion when in reality Route 1 is a different timeline altogether. Still, though, loved it!
I'm came here for nostalgia.
I REALLYREALLYREALLY MISS MY KAGEROU ERA 😢
Considering this is the "First" song of the series, it sets up so much for Route XX.
*reads Kagerou Days, gets to the part where everyone dies then it goes back to Shin's room as if nothing happened* What?
Ahh, the wonder of nightmares that show you past routes that you can't remember! XD
Kagerou Days = Hibiya's iconic song
Kagerou Daze = The manga's title
There's multiple fanmade PVs, this being one of them.c: There's no official PV for this song as of yet, but I'm hoping there will be one made really soon.
