I´m not a religious guy, but sometimes i dream with be a cleric in the Monastery library , reading and thinking all day , looking for the truth and god between lines
In my final days here on earth I am forced to look back and face some uncomfortable truths, the mirror of life does not lie nor does it spare me. Doing that with this music is a very sobering experience for me. As cliché as it might be, remember ... tomorrow is promised to nobody. But most will understand that only too late. Thank you for this masterpiece.
As a ex-Benedictine monk and philosophy teacher, I still appreciate our old abbey as well as the liturgical hours. I miss our late abbot and those bells. Music that brings light to the soul.
I'm not religious but spiritual person, believing in past lives and so on. I always have felt this strong pull and fascination towards old churches, cathedrals, temples, medieval times etc. These videos / works of yours are truly a blessing, magnificent work! Listening them makes me feel like I'm being taken back in time. It's kind of eerie, scary, depressing in a way because times were harder back then (like rampaging plague) but yet so loudly speaking to my soul. I can see and feel myself in old church at dark rainy night, praying in candle light while listening the choir. Very strong feeling... And I thank you for it! Your works are amazing and I love them, truly. Not many has been able to touch my soul this strongly or deeply.
Spiritual vocals and hums and ohms .. are always amazing in religions and tribal folklore ... We all always tend to synchronize with a higher power ... We are desperate and sad .. and mortal .....

I sang in a monastery once. It was in a chapel the people are allowed to freely visit, and only my boyfriend and I were in this chapel at the time, and the acoustics in there were incredible! Even speaking made us sound nice, so I started to sing to test it out. I don't have a good signing voice lol, but that room turned even my voice into something beautiful and clear and soaring 😯
@@metronews1554 Nah, not necessary. A lot of what Christ *actually* taught is highly compatible with a bunch of other religions' beliefs about how to treat each other. (Trust me, it was part of my thesis for my Ph.D. in Religions.) Be kind and good to each other; in fact, try to be better than you're currently doing. (For some, be a LOT better.) That's all that's needed to be welcome in The House of The Lord. Anyone telling you to act differently, to do things other than that, is tryna sell you something that will cost you your soul, and others their lives...which you will also have to pay for, in the end.

a lot of what Christ taught is compatible with other religions. but only one faith is compatible with *all* of Christ's teachings, and that's the Catholic faith.

It gives such a different perspective on the plot and the atmosphere, it sure made me love The name of the rose even more. Im currently reading The labyrinth of the End of the World by Marcelo Simoni, it has similar elements so i reccomend it 🙂
It all depends just how windy; I once went to a bellringing concert in York Minster. Being sat in the choir shivering as the bitterly cold wind gusted along the nave was certainly memorable..
