Please always make the videos that you want to make, Brad, including the sitreps. People who complain have no idea what it takes to produce content. This is your channel, my man. Thank you for taking us on the ride with you.
@@FJ-lt8oh He wouldn’t be putting anything out until he got back home, if it weren’t for these sit reps. Very hard to be editing meaningful videos while still out on the adventure. So, you either get a taste of things to come, or you get nothing. And you can choose whether not you want to watch these.
Making content is easy. Making _good_ content people want to watch is very, very hard. I make videoa for fun on occasion, and getting out, setting up the camera, doing an obstacle, going back and getting the camera, then editing the content... that's hard.
Thanks for the sitrep, Brad. Those that watched the whole sitrep should be thankful. You did a great job of explaining everything. Thanks for keeping us updated, while leaving us thirsty for the full adventure videos.
Sitrep videos are like the build up to the main event video, definitely like how your releasing these out expecially for a huge adventure trip like this. Cant wait!
Yep... ts cold up north until (about) July. The Yukon is gorgeous and I'm glad your trip was without major issues. I've met others who were not as fortunate. The mantra as you head north is Patience...

I see Brad enjoying this trip while still getting emotional when talking about heading home or seeing his wife! Fun but exhausting trip I bet! Stay safe Brad!
👍 Oh boy it’s 113 degrees outside in Arizona as I watch this. Your video looks soooo good! Last night I watched EFRT on TH-cam. They did a 2 hour tour of their trip to the Arctic Circle a few years ago. I was speechless. I can’t wait to see the videos of your trip. Safe travels Brad.
Thanks for promoting Dawson City! It is an incredible place with lots of history! It was the home of Robert Service, the Yukon poet! Definitely a great place to visit especially during the Dawson City follies
These sit reps are greatness. Keeping us updated - I kept thinking all day after the last sit rep "did he make it?!" Appreciate the updates and I love that you value your wife, your marriage, and your family! Keep it up Brad. You're showing the right way to do this!
We were @ Tuk in latest July. The sun came down to just above the ocean and never set, just followed the horizon to the east, then started rising. Agree on Dawson City. The top of the world highway leaving there will be etched in my brain for a while. I will go back and take more time.
When you come through Montana swing by Superior and say Hi. Theres some places here you really need to check out. Forget Glacier it's overrated and packed full of people, but go along Koocanusa in Rexford, and cruise down the Bull River, some spectacular hidden gems. Dont forget to camp a night at the Thompson Chain of Lakes to listen to the Loons in the evening And the state line road in the Lolo NF is pretty amazing - nearby here there are 2 trails you really should see while in the area. South central of Deerlodge and Beaverhead forests have some pretty awesome places too.
Thanks Brad it’s like you’re having fun. We’ve actually done that trip as well but there’s still some beautiful places in Idaho and Oregon and Montana like that.Thank you for sharing Don and Donna from north idaho
I follow this you-tuber that went there winter time with his Sprinter van. Another one was a female. She’s an international traveler with her landrover, all the way to Prudhoe Bay, and the other trip was the Arctic Circle through a country in Europe, both in wintertime. All amazing views whether in winter or spring.
That lake. That view is stunning!! Can’t wait to see the full adventures and challenges to faced. Obstacles you over came. Ect!! Especially that last update and waiting then on the light two fiver ferried and the great surprise after months of no travelers
Love the sitreps. I'm glad you were able to complete your journey. When you make it to Calgary, let me know. It would be great to meet you. Stay safe on the rest of your journey.
My wife & I were watching a video off & on yesterday on TH-cam from the “ Epic Family adventure “ where they are ( or were ) doing a similar run up there from their home in the east . That is still some “ wild country “ up through most of Canada & into Alaska. Beautiful scenery by the way , and cannot wait to see whatever you put together, as you have never disappointed. Stay safe ,& enjoy the time with Regina . C-ya when we do again . 😎👍
Brad, as an Albertan I’d be shunned if I didn’t inform you that you’ve gotta stop by the Alberta Rockies on your way back down. Specifically Banff and Lake Louise are must sees. A few trails around there as well, and only an hour or two west of Calgary. Enjoy the rest of the trip!
Love the SitReps... "Coffee One Take on the Trail". A quick short glimpse as to what is going on, perfect for letting everyone know how things are going. Thank you Brad.
Blah to the naysayers about trail videos. I appreciate the sitreps. The adventure you are on is epic and I hope one day I can do the same. These trips are once in a lifetime trips and not to enjoy it in the first person would be a crime. I’m just glad to be participating online watching you Brad. Enjoy your trip and I’m looking forward to seeing your trail videos.
Brad, When Regina flys in take her on a side trip to Hyder, AK. It’s a little out of the way but it’s really worth the effort. There’s a 100 yard boardwalk from which you watch the bears fishing as they come down the river. It puts you close to the river and the bears where you can get fantastic pictures and videos. This side trip was the best part of MY trip to Alaska.
The free firewood up North is to help eliminate the bugs and critters found in the southern province's wood from infesting the beautiful forests of the north. We stayed the night in Fort McPherson on the way up... a nasty snow storm basically halted all forward progress for us
You look and sound beat up, B-man. Appreciate you're taking the time on a rest-day to give us a sit-rep. Even being worn down a little, it's obvious you're soaking up the experience and grateful for it. Glad Regina is inbound; wind back in your sails.
GREAT VIDEO! THESE SITREP VIDEOS MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I AM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!!!!! THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR GLADIATOR AND YOUR TRAILER ARE QUITE INTERESTING ALSO!!!! I AM A RETIRED PERSON AND IT IS SO NICE TO WATCH CLEAN VIDEOS ALWAYS FUN TO WATCH!!! I AM GOING TO BE IN MONTANA NEXT MONTH, MY BROTHER ARE BUILDING A LOG CABIN OUTSIDE OF TROY, MONTANA!!! What a beautiful location, and great information about the road conditions. I hope to cover the same ground in July, and I look forward to your continuing videos about your wonderful trip.
I enjoy these SITREP vids. It's good to see you're doing well, and the trip is going great. It'll be good to see Regena back in the videos. Miss seeing you both on these adventures. Continued safe travels. 😉✌

Not sure how I didn't see you guys. I ran out of time and had to return to the states for work. I understand the ferries started the day I was on my way back.
Dude, all these videos are awesome!! Love these little fill in videos, good details to leave out of the main videos if people wanna skip the side details and just watch the adventures.
Thanks for the update Brad . I’m looking forward to your videos of your final push to the Arctic Ocean . We have flown into Whitehorse and drove to Dawson and back . I would love to do the drive to Tuk .
i've been in Finland for a summer, and winter (not recommended unless you like it frozen and dark almost 22hrs a day).. but summertime, can stay up all night w/o it getting dark., it's weird.. safe travels home !
Definitely an epic adventure! My son and I are leaving tomorrow afternoon, Jeeping our way to Colorado for some high mountain trails, camping and fishing.
I enjoy your sitreps. Still being out on the road, I don't expect some kind of polished, edited video. Being able to follow along in semi real time is great!
Im fortunate to live up here in Canada and have access to some of the best remote areas to camp, hike and explore. I hold it to myself to camp in a different area and spot every time I head out in the JK. Some of my favorite places are on the eastern slopes of the rockies. My last days off I discovered a big waterfall we camped beside 60km away from any civilization we had the view all to ourselves with no one nearby absolutely epic. Edit: I also try to find spots where there is absolutely no nearby that I am not camping with. I have a saying that if you are camping in proximity to any others you are not doing it right because there are so many spots like you are at here at this lake, so why share a view with others? Ill get up to the Artic eventually, its on my list!
