It definitely helps with some games like Halo Infinite, which uses a lot of texture streaming, and the apps are a little snappier, but still doesn't help with any kind of framerate advantage. If your HDD has died (like mine did earlier this year with my Xbox One and Xbox One S) replacing them with a SSD is a no-brainer.
i just purchased an xbox one x, my xbox one s i loved dearly broke when i dropped it on accident moving stuff around, im loving my new xbox and its still getting all the support from devs, theres a select few that wont support anymore but its no big deal, ive been playing gtaiv with 60fps
i still use my xbox one og from 2015 i got the glossy one before mid 2015 when it got the second gen upgrade with the mat finsh i glad i keep my .i use my ps4 slim now because i jail break my too play old games that cost over 70 or 80 or 100 now for rpg games my main platform too play on still is pc because i gaming on ps xbox nintendo i own a switch series x and ps5 and ps4 slim and ps2 ps3 ps1 and psp ps vita and i soon buy a wii u it under rated console you can play all the game cube games on wii u when modded . and you can play retro games like n64 nes game boy and color and advance games and ds games i seen my friend playing pokemon soul silver . other ds pokemon games
I think my Xbox HDD isn't performing like it used to, because sometimes watchdogs 1 i recently played was freezing for like 2 to 5secs in-game, and Forza horizon 5 takes almost 5mins to load and the menus freeze when switch them fast. But it's not just the HDD, the whole console has become a bottleneck, I usually don't care about the low fps but in some fast games it can make you screw up. I'll just get a series s and retire my Xbox one and maybe use it rarely for discs.
I have a Series X with a external HDD and a lot of the time, my xbox one with a SSD load my game faster than the xbox series X when the game is on the external Hard drive
I always like the look of the OG Xbone.

I think you sold me on putting an SSD in mine. Great video bro!
Whats the biggest amount of storage you can put in one of these?
awesome vid dude, yea i also really like the design of the OG XBONE . looks beefy and robust
I’ve had a xbone since 2014 Xmas since I was in kindergarten now I’m going into 10th grade with a series X
It runs smother with the SSD bro?

I installed a 2TB SSD on my Xbox one last year and it's the night and the day with this upgrade. I save about 30% sometime 50% of loading time
Just picked one up for 45 bucks working 1tb it runs great I play siege a lot and it still looks good
whats crazy is these systems are still supported with a lot of upcoming titles, cod still gets updates on it, this generation still going strong
I have the original Xbox one..
Love it super durable
The xbox one x with sata 3 is the better way to go for this as you would benefit fully from the ssd to almost feel exactly like a series s even.

Was it a drop in and use OSU1 or did you have to format it first on a PC?
Had to format it first since I originally had it in my ps4.

@@Zim5.0 sounds like you need an ssd upgrade, an ssd is way cheaper then a new xbox
Is that Forza Edition Xbone?
It's just the normal one, actually a launch day edition or whatever it's called.
@@OrganicFoxes cool man, you should make more console vids
"it runs pretty well"
*stuttering at 20-30 fps
lmao :D
There is no stuttering, and 20 to 30 is still very playable in my opinion, it used to be the norm for years.

ssd beats hdd every time
Xbox One is garbage dumpster
odd way to say great console
