Anand Bhadoria has become one of the Navratnas (nine gems) of Samajwadi Party's national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. This journey was not easy at all for Anand Bhadoria, who had to face the wrath of DIG's shoe. BJP candidate Rekha Verma and BSP's Shyam Kishore Awasthi were in the fray against him. Bhadoria contested this election on behalf of the joint alliance of Congress and Samajwadi Party and defeated BJP's Rekha Verma by 4,449 votes.
आनंद भदौरिया समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष और उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव के नवरत्नों में शुमार हो गए हैं. डीआईजी के जूते की लताड़ झेलने वाले आनंद भदौरिया के लिए ये सफर आसान बिलकुल नहीं था. उनके सामने भाजपा प्रत्याशी रेखा वर्मा और बसपा से श्याम किशोर अवस्थी चुनाव मैदान में थे. भदौरिया ने कांग्रेस और समाजवादी पार्टी के संयुक्त गठबंधन की तरफ से ये चुनाव लड़ा और भाजपा की रेखा वर्मा को 4,449 मतों से पस्त कर दिया.
