You’re the best! Thank you thank you thank you x a million for making these videos. It’s rare for many homeschooling moms to be so open and honest like this and it’s refreshing to know im not alone in my opinions! I have YOU to thank for the fact that I haven’t given up on homeschooling my kids on the hardest days. Honestly, you alone can I give credit to for the fact that my homeschool has been transformed by switching to the good and the beautiful curriculum. You introduced that curriculum to me and influenced me to research it and come to realize how perfect it is for our family. Keep up what you’re doing because though there are trolls here who take offense to what you say, there are SOOOOO many more moms here who support you and have your back and are on the same page as you. And honestly, we need you sometimes so never forget that this is a ministry in a way and God is using you for more than you realize.
HECK YES... I was homeschooled and spent a ton of time reading and writing because I loved it and knew I wanted to be a novelist. And now I'm a full time author.
Oh my! Too much info to fit here but yes I am. It can take a long time though to get there. I just got an offer to publish 2 of my books into audio books from a major publisher but I indie publish everything else. There are a lot of options now. Email me at amishbookwriter@gmail.com and I can give her some pointers. I wish I had someone to help me out when I was her age. I started self publishing at 16 but did it all wrong.
I have 4 kids. 2 went through public school completely. (1is actually entering senior year) I am homeschooling the youngest two and I will tell you- that whole thing with the olders not wanting to play with the youngers... so true and breaks my heart. There came an age where the kids didn’t want to have anything to do with any of us. Siblings became annoying and too babyish for them. We as parents became people who must not understand anything and we just aren’t fair because so and so’s parents, etc. I wanted a close family, I wanted my kids to have close relationships with their siblings so now I pray for healing!! But I’m hopeful my youngest two will change that course. There is a 5 year difference but they still play around together!! Also, I pulled my daughter out after 6th grade- good timing. Her friends this year have changed so much and are doing and saying shocking things. So proud my daughter chose to unfriend them due to being disgusted with their behavior. which this mama is perfectly fine with!
Abbigail Gutierrez love your comment! We’re in a similar boat. Had our oldest kids go thru public school and graduate and now our youngest ones will be homeschooled starting this fall. I cannot wait to get them out!! Best wishes to you and yours
The innocence is one of the biggest reason I've seen that has kept me going.... among many other reasons but I love that their not learning things they should never know or to early. Thanks for sharing!! Keep it up mom!!
I’ve also heard a quote “if you want to be in your children’s lives tomorrow, be in their life today”. When they are adults I want them to be around us with their families! :) Thanks for this video
Great reasons! We have a lot of the same reasons here too! I might would add be able to relax in the evenings. My husband works a swing shift; so sometimes he on nights and sometimes he on days. Homeschooling gives us the freedom to slow down and not rush everyone off to bed because we have to be somewhere super early. Granted sometimes we do, but we get to choose. I believe if our kids were in public school they probably wouldn't even know their dad very well and that would be sad for me to see. Homeschooling has absolutely been a big part of helping our family grow stronger lasting bonds with our children! We can't pick where and when and how much my husband has to work to provide for us, but we can choose where, when, how and the amount of time our children are spending doing x,y,z. Just a few weeks ago on one of my husband's weeks off for the month the boys and him where building a tree house together, right in the middle of the week. No way could that have worked if they were in public school. Yeah he could've built it while they were at school or had to plan vacation time off when they were out of school; but that not always easy to do. I gotta be honest, I do get stressed with the demands of everyday life and worry sometimes that I'm not giving my kids the best education possible. But I really think I put that stress on myself and Satan loves it when I do; because he pulls me down even more with all the your not good enough, your gonna fail, talk. But I always come back to the truth; I'm not good enough and yes I might fail, but God is more than enough and called me to do this great wonderful awesome job of being a mom and taking full responsibility for all aspects of my kids life. My kids being home with my husband and I just feels right even on a bad, crabby, we can't open another book or do another math problems without tears kind of day. Life can just be hard sometimes and being around my kids more helps me know them more and how to better help them through their struggles in all areas of life from relationships to academics and everything in between. Thanks again for sharing your heart and thoughts your doing an amazing jobs with you family and I know and pray the lord God will bless y'all immensely! Ps you get a GOLD STAR for reading all of my long winded thoughts!
I went to public school until high school. Honestly, I loved the experience. You are 100% right... my relationship with my little brother grew tremendously (I no longer thought I was too cool to be around him) as well as my mom (I actually LIKED hanging out with my mom once I had to be around her all day!). I also learned study skills such as working independently to gain a thorough understanding of a subject or to create a quality product rather than do what needs to be done for a grade. I know it’s not always easy but it is totally worth it. Now I’m a teacher in public school, and while I love it and think we are a great school, it won’t replace the benefits you mentioned. Peace!
Our local high school last week had one boy with knives and another boy with a sawed off shot gun arrested. Fortunately no one was injured. Last year a coach was arrested for abuse. Being a family closer to the Lord is a huge one for us. So many great reasons. Another great video.
All of your continue reasons are pretty much the same as mine! I actually hadn't thought about my kids being healthier but now looking back I realize that we didn't get sick last winter! My super silliest reason for homeschooling is that I HATE packing lunches! 🤣
I forgot about this one, but yes yes yes! The only time we were sick this year (first year) was due to seasonal allergies! Such a relief bc the year before we all had the flu, twice, me included while 34 weeks pregnant 😩
Everything you have said is everything I have ever felt and I finally have the guts to homeschool starting this summer. I thought that I was the only one who had those reasons so I never did. But God has put it on my heart stronger than ever before to homechool. Thank you for this encouraging video :)
I just withdrew my 6 year old from public school and we are starting homeschool in January. I completely agree with the sibling bond. So many of your reasons mirror my own exactly. I spent a little time being a substitute teacher in my child's school district and I couldn't believe the things that even 1st graders were saying. It completely blew my mind this was the kind of influence my child was being exposed to, needless to say I listened to heart and will be homeschooling. It is so important to keep kids innocent as long as possible, and sadly public school is not a good environment for that.
Yes!!! I agree with all of your reasons and most are on my list too. Time together is huge for me though! I have a younger brother (8 1/2yrs) and we have no relationship bc we never got to see each other bc we were in school all day and then homework and sports after. He was pretty much raised as an only child even though there are 4 of us. I did not want that for my kids at all.
Yes i agree with everything you said, my daughter has improved ten fold in her soccer since we started homeschooling. She's a very active kid to begin with and when she was stuck at a desk it was miserable for her.
Yes, I agree 100,000% You couldn't have said it better. We get these amazing children for such a short time. I can't imagine NOT spending every minute I could with them to make everlasting memories and to impact their futures. I am so blessed I am able to stay home with them, retire as a public school teacher, and teach them. What a legacy we are leaving for them!!!
Thank you again! It’s so crazy that people try to shame us for wanting to keep our children safe! I remember a very difficult confrontation I had with my father, when my child was only four years old. I got a huge lecture about “keeping him in a bubble”. And that was before I’d even decided to homeschool. I was tempted to forward your part 1 video to him. Thank you for all your eloquent words of wisdom.
Yes! I love this! We start homeschool next July with my son and we get so many negative comments about it but we decided years ago that it's what were doing. I love how honest you are, especially with keeping your children safe. People think I'm crazy for that being a reason to homeschool but it's true! My son if safer at home then in a school. It's a sad fact, but a fact. Thank you for making this video!
Yes! We’re finishing up our 5th year homeschooling (with 5 kids) and I 100% agree with your reasons in both videos! Thank you so much for sharing. Even though I would never put my kids in public school and we’ve been homeschooling for 5 years, it’s so encouraging and yes “inspiring” to hear your reasons. Every once in a while, it’s nice to have a reminder as to why I do what I do. This was that reminder for me. I’m looking forward to coming back to these videos in the future when I’m having a hard day. Thank you, and God bless♥️
Very similar reasons, we also homeschool. I struggle with my daughters missing out on the social aspects, like the dances, prom, high school sporting events, etc.
Again...excellent reasons!!! I agree 110% with everything you said!!!❤👍...my daughter was exposed too early (in my opinion) to too much information when she entered middle-school!😩 I feel she wasn't ready for everything the school taught her in health class...as well as was she "learned" from her peers!!!😞 I which I had decided to homeschool her sooner! Thank God my 9 year old hasn't been as exposed as she was!!! I applaud your decision, and your commitment to keep your kids safe...in every sense of the word!🎉 I hope you have a great First Day of School today!🙏
It’s nice to hear someone else has the same feelings about homeschooling. I’m loving it. I also love seeing my kids discover things and how they literally figure things out as they are doing their work.
I watched your first video and then this one and I just want to tell you how encouraging it was! I have been feeling so led by God to homeschool my boys(just waiting for the hubby to be on board!) these are exactly the reasons I want to do it!! Thank you so much!
I appreciate this so much! We are the precipice of pulling ours out and homeschooling. Oddly, where we live the public schools contain too much religious bias and we are secular (kind of the opposite of your concerns with your local schools!). As far as their diet, I’m an ethical vegan and not only is so ugh of the food not vegan, it is unhealthy as well. There is too much “fast” behavior and language at all grades and finally, we have specific concerns with a couple of the kids that we are not keen to medicate!!! Thanks so much for sharing ❤️
I totally agree with your list. Those are same reasons I'm starting to homeschool my children. I especially agree with the maturing at an appropriate time and strong sibling bond. Thank you for sharing.
I identify with so many of these reasons! We just pulled my 1st grader out of school to homeschool, and even though she wasn't in any extra-curriculars yet, it's crazy how there was no time for anything, even something simple like practicing reading at home, or working on character and helping around the house. I can only imagine how hectic life would have got as she got into the older grades, and it's not the life we wanted, so we chose something different and have been seeing the amazing differences already. Thanks so much for your videos and content!!!
This video is awesome!! Thank you for sharing this with us! It’s becoming more relevant with every passing day. We have been homeschooling for the last 2 years and it has been a blessing for our entire family.
Thank you for part 2!! I agree whole heartedly with your reasons!! We don't have a very big homeschooling community where we live, but I have been soooo blessed by this TH-cam community when it comes to homeschooling. Thank you for what you do and sharing it with us!! ❤️
Thank you for sharing! Now that I’ve been homeschooling about a year and a half, my reasons have grown as well! Couldn’t agree more with your reasons. 💕
I clearly can't stress this enough. A public school education is a one-size-fits-all education. I went to public school back in the 1960s. Unfortunately, I only got as far as fourth grade. I had emotional problems and the classes were just too large. After fourth grade, I was sent to special education school. The classes were much smaller and the teachers give you more individualized attention. As the years went by, I gradually calmed down and I had more respect for the teachers. Public school teachers simply don't have the time to deal with special needs students; nor give them the individualized attention that they need. And there were no special education programs in the public schools back in the 60's either. She mentioned that her kids are healthy. If she ever has to take them to the doctor, she can just simply call the doctor's office and make an appointment. She doesn't have to call the school by a certain time in the morning if they're going to be out sick; nor even have them bring in a doctor's note to give to their teachers either. Most schools want the parents to make doctor's appointments after school hours. Some doctors' offices have evening and Saturday hours; and some don't. There are also some kids who have chronic health problems that they're not able to attend school. I guess that's where homeschooling comes in.
Yes! Totally agree with your reasons. I would add that when you get to the middle/high school age it’s just so fun and rewarding to see those seeds you planted reap so much fruit in life skills, habits, character, and school. The discussions become deeper and richer too. It’s bittersweet to see them grow and prepare to leave, but fulfilling knowing you poured out your best by his grace to equip them for life. Get through the basic high school planning for each child and you will add to that wonderful list of the WHY you CONTINUE to Homeschool! ❤️
My oldest is in preschool and I'm considering homeschooling. I don't want my little 5 year old to be stuck in a classroom for 8 hours a day. I don't want him to have to deal with bullies. I don't want to have to fight with school administration when they force 'values' on my children that I don't support. You lose so many rights as a parent when your child goes to public school. I know there are some wonderful teachers out there who know far more than I do, but I still think I can do a better overall job of educating my kids than public school and their standardized tests.
Love video. Good reasons you gave I use pretty much all of them to homeschool my children and now my grandchildren. Its different with every family Im the only one who kept homeschooling out of 4 other siblings. And all my grandchildren have been homeschooled by me at different times in their lives.
This is so so fantastic! So many of these reasons resonate with our reasons for homeachooling. The time, the bonds, the relationships, the home skills and just being TOGETHER as a family are the foundation, then all the others you mentioned just add to solidifying our decision. We also homeschool because we get to follow interests. We use curriculum, we stick to core subjects, but in the last year we have dived DEEP in to subjects like astronomy, astrophysics, quantum physics, baking, and chemistry and physics through watching educational shows together during lunch time and before bed. And my kids are only 4, 7 and 9...they would likely never heard of those things if we didn't homeschool, but we can find their interests early and learn and help them grow in their strengths. Thank you so much for sharing!
I loved hearing you reasons. 💕 ours have changed a little over the years, but the biggest change is that now we plan to Homeschool through high school doing dual-enrollment.
Thank you so much for sharing once again! I absolutely agree with everything you said. I have a 6 year old worrying far too much about things that 6 year old little girls should not be worrying about. I have a 3 year old little girl who also idolizes her big sister, and a 6 month old who’s eyes light up when she sees them both. My oldest sometimes tells me I want more cuddle time with you which we have but not enough because of not having enough time! This is only one of the reasons why we have chosen to homeschool. All my other reasons align with yours.
I loved all these reasons and agree with them all for why we continue to HS as well. Thank you so much for all you do on your channel. I found your channel not long after I started HSing my daughters 3 yrs ago, and you’ve been a great encouragement to me!
Happy First day of School!! All these are great reasons to homeschool. Thank you so much for sharing this. You really are inspiring even if you don't like saying it yourself! Have a wonderful week as you start your new school year. We are starting next week! Can't wait!
Thank you for this(and all your videos)! I am homeschooling for the first time next year with my son going into “1st” grade. He was in Public School for Kindergarten and anytime I question my decision for homeschooling or get fearful that I’m making the right choice I just go to TH-cam and watch your videos and I’m put at ease! I know God is calling me to homeschool but sometimes the fear creeps in and hearing your videos are so encouraging. Thank you💗
I would like to thank you for sharing. I find that a lot of what you talk about we do in my home even though my kids go to a Public School. I also find that my kids are very healthy. My husband and I believe in a healthy eating. I have seen some homeschooling families here on TH-cam where their kids are sick very often, but see that they make a lot of unhealthy choices. This is in no way judgement, but even though my kids are not homeschooled, I truly believe that families must dedicate whatever time they have to instill important values and such so that the kids learn and grow. My kids spend almost all of their time together and with us outside of school too. Believe me, if I could homeschool I would. It would bring a different dimension to our family. ;)
Just watched part one and two and I couldn’t agree more! I’m so excited to start homeschooling my son this August. Thanks for all the wonderful content you put on your channel!
I LOVE THIS! We are a young homeschool family with 4 kids, I was homeschooled until High School and as a former homeschool student and now, a homeschool parent I can SO relate to what you are sharing. You are vocalizing my thoughts exactly, thanks for doing this video. I just began uploading my own TH-cam videos this month and it is so encouraging finding other Christian homeschool moms who are also using this platform to share their experiences and encourage. Subscribed and a new follower on Instagram 😍
I have been waiting for this! I was so excited because you were able to put words to the thoughts and feelings I have for wanting to homeschool my kiddos. I still have a couple years left until they are in school, but as a parent, we are always thinking of their futures. Thank you so much for sharing!!
So glad I found you on TH-cam. Been watching you for a couple of months. This video touched my heart and I agree with you! I homeschool for these reasons too.❤
Oh my Gosh I LOVE YOU! lol I’m homeschooling starting this fall for every reason you do! Thank you for being vocal about it! It is incredibly comforting and supportive. Especially in a world that raises an eyebrow at the phrase homeschooled. You are truly a blessing! 💜✝️
You are speaking straight to my heart! Many of the reasons you shared in the two videos are why we have chosen to homeschool and continue homeschooling!! Definitely going to subscribe and gain some encouragement from a like minded Homeschooler!
She made a valid point regarding taking family vacations during the school year. Many schools don't allow this. They consider them as unexcused absences. And the teachers won't assign make-up either. Each school has attendance policies that must be enforced. Depending on their attendance policies, the parents can even be charged with truancy. Here in Pennsylvania, where I live at and by law, children have to be in school for 180 days a year. Four years ago, there was a guy right here in suburban Philadelphia who took his two kids out of school for five days because he was running in the Boston Marathon. He then got a letter from the school's principal saying that this was an unexcused absence. He defended his actions by saying that his two kids learned more while they were in Boston than they would sitting inside of a classroom. She also made a valid point about her kids being healthy. They're cutting back recess. When I was in public school back in the 1960's, we had morning recess. Although I have heard that the schools are now serving these kids much healthier foods, some of it is still junk food. I have also heard that the schools are refusing to allow these kids to each lunch because the parents owe them money for their lunches. Also, when I was in a public school, we had milk cookies, and we had to give our milk money to the teacher. Although most schools allow doctor's appointments as an excused absence, they want the parents to make these appointments for after school hours. During the week, most doctors' offices close at around 4:30/5 o'clock. There are also some doctors' offices that have evening and Saturday hours as well. If a child gets sick and needs to see a doctor; the parents want to get an appointment right away. They're not going to wait until after school hours or on a Saturday. In general, the schools want these parents to take care of all their personal business after school hours, on the weekends, during the summer, and during the holiday breaks during the school year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.) Even if they need to talk to their child's teacher, they have to call the school's office to make an appointment. They're not allowed to approach the teacher during school hours. The same thing applies if they have doctor's appointments, the kids are out sick, or their kids just can't make it to school for reasons beyond the parents' and the school's control. Perhaps she can address these issues as to why the parents decided to pull their kids out of school and to homeschool them instead. But they also need to check with their state's Department of Education and their local school district just to find out what their state's homeschool laws, policies, and procedures are as well.
THANK YOU! Yes, yes, yes, my reasons to homeschool coincide with yours. Thank you for sharing with us. and what a great idea to save to list! We started a year ago, I will definitely make a list - and come back to it as a way to stay grounded.
All these reasons are why I want to start homeschooling my oldest son. He is having a hard time in public school because he is different and he has social issues which keeps him from exceeding.
Your reasons completely resonated with me. I am beginning to see the fruit of homeschooling. Many of the things you mentioned are becoming visible and it is simply lovely❤
Let me just say your videos are wonderful! I totally agree with you and I love that you can convey your thoughts and feelings so well! Wished I lived right by you🤣...I need a running and fitness friend/ homeschool mama by me who is like minded. Keep up the goodness and light that you continue to share...I’m sure many people will agree that you make everyone feel like they are your friend even if we don’t know you personally. Thank you for sharing although it’s not easy to put yourself out there...many of us benefit to be able to connect and totally agree with you ❤️
Thank you I agree with your reasons! And enjoyed both of these videos.. I find your humility and authenticity refreshing. I also homeschool and we are on our 5th year.. It has been. A beautiful and changing journey.. Has actually helped us to work on our family home and dynamics! People that know my husband ask about socialization.. like our oldest son goes to school and we dont want the kind of socialization lol just is kind of a brainwashing thing.. first of all it isnt encouraged to socialize and secondly it is not always the kind of socializing influence you would like...
Love all your videos! I've learned a lot from you about homeschooling. We have been doing Sonlight and this year added TGTB . :) I just have to ask if you have ever looked at Bible study guide for all ages?
I love this series. I’m doing a video on reason to homeschool coming from a public school teacher. I decided to homeschool this year and I loved these videos. Would you mind me linking your videos about why you decided to homeschool? I love your channel. You have a similar channel to the one I am creating. Completely ok to say no.

Ashley Emma This seems to be the path my (16yo) daughter has a knack for. How would I get her started in that direction? Are you making an income?

The bullying issue alone is enough for me to homeschool. I was bullied when I was young and I would never want my kids to go through what I did.
Sharayah B. Amen!
Not only other kids being bullies, but teachers bullying kids.
I have 4 kids. 2 went through public school completely. (1is actually entering senior year)

Amen to maturing naturally...being a kid a little longer is super important to me too! I was just talking to my friend about this.
so important they only get to do it once!

Adrienne LeFevre Thankyou for your thoughts!
Wow, these were great points to consider! They help me a lot. Thanks for commenting.
I couldn’t agree more with so many of your reasons! One word summation - family! Thanks so much for sharing your heartfelt reasons. 💚
Project Happy Home that word definitely sums it up! Thankyou for watching!

Amen! I'm so glad God placed You Tube in your heart! As a fellow homeschool Mom, you are so encouraging to me.💖💖💖💖
Shanda's Smiles this makes my heart so happy!
No need to explain your reasons or defend yourself. The calling is enough ❤
Girl you are spot on!!! Not silly my kids are way healthier from head to toe!!!! 😀 the sibling bond is so important.

Dawn Bowers not alone mama! I thought too for a long time
I just withdrew my 6 year old from public school and we are starting homeschool in January.
You have a heart of Gold! 💛 I feel like you’re my good friend, and I’ve never even met you! So relatable! 🙏
Jennifer Campbell the feeling is mutual! ❤️
Yes to every reason! I would also add movement and outside time! I have boys with lots of energy.
Melissa Haunson yes this is true for me too
Valerie Wood yes! Active kids don’t do well!
Just withdrew my son after being punched in the face and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in life! Thank you for your videos!
I love in a town where there isn't many homeachoolers, it's so nice to hear someone else have the same views and thoughts as you do.
Girl, preach.
Madeline Salter 😆
Very similar reasons, we also homeschool. I struggle with my daughters missing out on the social aspects, like the dances, prom, high school sporting events, etc.
Again...excellent reasons!!! I agree 110% with everything you said!!!❤👍...my daughter was exposed too early (in my opinion) to too much information when she entered middle-school!😩 I feel she wasn't ready for everything the school taught her in health class...as well as was she "learned" from her peers!!!😞 I which I had decided to homeschool her sooner! Thank God my 9 year old hasn't been as exposed as she was!!!
I applaud your decision, and your commitment to keep your kids safe...in every sense of the word!🎉
I hope you have a great First Day of School today!🙏
Gina Valentino-Vallejo Thankyou so much!
Art in my heart you're right!!!
Thank you I started homeschooling my 5 kids for the same reason gracias
So thankful for your videos!!! You have been such an encouragement to all of us homeschooling moms!!
Tracy Layne love you guys! 😘❤️
Agree with it all!! Thank you for being brave and sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Garfold08 you’re welcome!
YOU have been instrumental in my HS journey. Thank you times 1 billion. :)
Whitney 💕
Completely agree Ashlee, Many of the reasons you read were the same for Our Family.
Thank you for sharing! Now that I’ve been homeschooling about a year and a half, my reasons have grown as well! Couldn’t agree more with your reasons. 💕
Wow. I didn't even realize this is from 2 years ago. Its timeless and priceless points
Moments Peace this made me smile! Can’t wait to see the seeds flourish!
A Common Life uncharted territory! High school still scares me! Thankyou for watching! 😘
Some of these I didn’t even think of! So blessed to be able to HS. Thank you Ashlee!
Kelly Albertson it is a blessing!
All my other reasons align with yours.
alexandria perez ❤️❤️❤️
I loved all these reasons and agree with them all for why we continue to HS as well. Thank you so much for all you do on your channel. I found your channel not long after I started HSing my daughters 3 yrs ago, and you’ve been a great encouragement to me!
krivard23 so thankful to have you here!
Happy First day of School!! All these are great reasons to homeschool. Thank you so much for sharing this. You really are inspiring even if you don't like saying it yourself! Have a wonderful week as you start your new school year. We are starting next week! Can't wait!
Rosie S. Good luck!
It would bring a different dimension to our family. ;)
I 1,000% agree with all of your reasons and most are my own reasons for homeschooling!!
Just watched part one and two and I couldn’t agree more! I’m so excited to start homeschooling my son this August. Thanks for all the wonderful content you put on your channel!
Cassie Lynn praying for your first year!
Love these two videos! I love the list idea!! Thank you
Even if you just said one of those reasons it’s reason enough to homeschool:) I love this!
I have been waiting for this! I was so excited because you were able to put words to the thoughts and feelings I have for wanting to homeschool my kiddos. I still have a couple years left until they are in school, but as a parent, we are always thinking of their futures. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Danielle Hoover always!
This video got me all emotional! Love it and your passion for homeschooling.
Alexandra Medina 😘💕
Thank you for sharing! I couldn't agree more with all the reasons you gave! #homeachoolingrocks!
Don’t be scared to say inspiring....you really are inspiring me as I start my journey!
Yes! flexibility is key. We are planning to do a year round schedule this school year and I am looking forward to having those breaks !
In general, the schools want these parents to take care of all their personal business after school hours, on the weekends, during the summer, and during the holiday breaks during the school year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.)
Even if they need to talk to their child's teacher, they have to call the school's office to make an appointment.
You are just such a blessing! I am new to homeschooling and you are helping me so much!💕
Absolutely agree with all of your reasons as they ring true for us as well!
Thanks for sharing your heart. I so agree.
Great video! 👍 just
Keep on being brave!
Your reasons completely resonated with me. I am beginning to see the fruit of homeschooling. Many of the things you mentioned are becoming visible and it is simply lovely❤
I have one that is super sensitive and the other is black and white. Thank you for your videos!
Gingersnaps tough combo lol same here
Lv this alot of the same reasons except my 2 are fighting alot so this summer we are doing alot character training. Thanks for sharing
Faith, Courage & Strength we do that lots here too
The reasons from part one and this.
LOVE
I couldn’t agree more!!! Thank you for doing this video! 💕
SO so good and so true. I love your courage and your kids are better for the courage that you’ve had. Keep it up.
Thank you for sharing although it’s not easy to put yourself out there...many of us benefit to be able to connect and totally agree with you ❤️
Thank you for sharing Ashlee. ❤️
Totally agree with your reasons! I wish we would have started sooner!
Seriously I didn’t even think of some of these things you mentioned!! Thank you so much!!
Agree 100%, thanks for sharing!!!
PERFECTLY SAID!💙
one of our reasons is , we are able to learn secular, the school (although public) teached too christian, that is not our way
Thank you for this! I completely agree on it all. ❤
Yes to all of these....and that cute shirt!
HR you’re so sweet!
Love all your videos! I've learned a lot from you about homeschooling. We have been doing Sonlight and this year added TGTB . :) I just have to ask if you have ever looked at Bible study guide for all ages?
So awesome Ashlee!! 💗
So good Ashlee, thanks for making this video 👌🏻
Amen! Loved this.
Mandie's Mess sure you can link Thankyou for asking!
I couldn’t agree with you more.
