I have a really similar clip saved from my xbox where I had a lock on an octane with my smart bullet, he jumped over me with his pad, and the smart bullet killed him. It was in control, but still a really cool clip.
So I'm 3 weeks late but this video inspired me to take a look at all the past apex trailers to find what weapons the legends use most often and make a list. A lot of these legends also have Loadouts apparently that they prefer. Pathfinder is seen mostly using the L-star and the Longbow (which is funny best specters in Titanfall often used those weapons if I remember right) Mirage is almost always seen with either a P2020 or a Wingman, but he also is seen using a flatline a ton across the past Bloodhound, in addition to using the Charge rifle, is seen using the Devotion across the past trailers Lifeline is seen almost always seen carrying an SMG, but more often then not, using the Alternator (this makes sense as well as the Alternator has several medic themed skins from the very start of the game) Horizon is similar to caustic in a way, as she almost always has a peacekeeper, or volt, mainly peacekeeper Bangalore is often seen using a G7 scout, and an R301, as she has a finisher using the R3, and is seen in a ton of early trailers using it Caustic uses both the peacekeeper, but is also seen using the Spitfire many times as well Octane is funny because he's actually shown in trailers and animation having no gun at all. When he is however, he's rocking the Prowler or Wingman Revenant is also funny because he's shown not carrying any guns either. he on rare occasions is shown using the R-99 Wraith is shown using every gun honestly, so I have no idea, so Ill hemlock and Triple take because she's seen using those more often than others Watson is always seen with an energy weapon, but most often with a havoc, and a sentinel Gibraltar likes his shotguns, and his LMGS, as he's seen using all of these, but I haven't seen him use any SMGs or Snipers (he's seen SOMETIMES with Assault rifles) The other legends are more up in the air IMO. I started writing this at 3am because I couldn't sleep, but take this as you will. I barely did research I just watched the old trailers, if you wanna nitpick go suck my balls idc. I think it would be cool if every legend got a weapon perk for a certain weapon. It would be a good way to increase pick rate and make the meta more open i guess. If crypto had the flatline or gibbie had the spiyfire or something im guessing there pick rate would increase alot. It would make apex alot more varied, idk what the meta is rn I havent played aince Revelry but im guessing its still pretty similiar lol
Top picked up legends signature weapon could change too. If a legend is A tier meta they can easily be nerfed slightly by making the Mozambique the weapon they get a bonus too. And if someone is struggling in the meta give them the 99 or volt or whatever lol. My go to gun in apex usually changes every few seasons so lore wise I don't see why the legends would have a set choice forever on what's the go to. Free idea btw respawn no credit needed lol

Conduits ult works on cover not roof or wall side buildings. Make sure to place the ult inside, at open doors, or windows depending on the window. roughly how I would depict it so far
PK absolutely combos good with Caustic, especially with disruptors because he is a close range visibility disrupting legend whos abilitiy damages health through shields, and I dont even main caustic tbh its just a no brainer.
Revenant's signature weapon is his hand. You gotta melee people when possible (with no risk so it will be possible) and you gotta finish every knock with Revenant's legendary finisher because he stabs with his hand

Pathfinder and the havoc (this is mainly cause of that one scene in the launch trailer for apex. I just cannot unsee pathfinder and a havoc.) Octane and the R99 (dont really have a big "explanation" for this one. I just feel like since octane is fast, and the R99 is fast. I feel like that's one of the weapons that would fit him the most) wattson and the Tripletake (Dont really have an explanation for it) revenant and the p2020 (this is very questionable. like yeah Loba's sign weapon is the p2020, but it was revenant's assassination weapon for Loba's father.) crypto and the charge rifle (this is why it would make more sense with bloodhound having longbow instead of charge rifle) (not only crypto got released with the charge rifle, but he was the more "iconic one, cause he "almost shot" mirage in season 3 trailer. Horizon, Seer, Ash, NewCastle and Catalyst i couldn't really think of one. 😅😅
I like mirage with the wing man the high damage potential and his invisibility make for great sneak attacks where they can barely react in time unless they're a good player who can tell which mirage is real
You should do a video where instead of lore signature weapons, it's player signature weapons. Wraith- Wingman Lifeline- Mozambique and other stuff I don't remember
I’m not saying it is but it feels like the ratings on these combos are kinda revolving around the current meta not what it was like upon release of the legends and when these were seen in trailers etc.
I feel like you used the eva wrong "dance" in and out of the dome with it the rapid shotgun blasts pair pretty well with the fact that you can peek in and out of dome without aiming with the dome to avoid damage since you cant use the ads shield of gibby anyway was super late to the party but great video keep up the content
what abt pathfinder and the havoc? he has a bundle pack with it and a legendary skin for it. also it showed him squad wiping a team in one of the earlier trialers
Respawn should of done some better with charge rifle, instead they just made it similar to the select fire havoc. (which was op for those who there shots).
Most of the time when a weapon got a bad scoring it's not cause it doesn't synergize with the legend. It's just cause that weapon sucks. When it does synergize, it's just cause that weapon is just good. Rampage on Rampart. Perfect synergy considering her passive. The gun itself just sucks. G7 on Bangalore. The gun is just alright itself, but you'd much rather use something that can hold a digithreat. Which the G7 did used to equip the Digi-threat. Wingman on Mirage. Wingman is good in basically any range, on any legend and is just a good gun in general. Gibby Eva-8. Combo makes perfect sense.... Eva-8 just sucks though. This is more of just a weapons tier list rather than an analysis of a weapon on certain legends. Also RIP Wattson. Signature Weapon being a Nessie doesn't put things in her favor.
All legends should have a unique pickup animation for one gun. Would add so much character
