1st round - i can see that going to Lee based on how hyped the crowd got in the moment and his flow. Short but very sharp and powerful round by him 2nd round - Clearly Amir. Lee repeated the side hollow and in the end just gave up after the head-slide/ not sure what to do after it 3rd round - Amir's round was just insane - some of the most intricate floor origami ever, and on beat? This was a massive round! Lee's corkscrew entrance was ridiculous and got everyone hyped, but ... after that he just fizzled out? And to top if off missed his thread in the end and didn't stick that freeze combo afterwards. I think it's a clear 2-1 for Amir. Lee was def crowd favorite, you can tell, but you have to be very ... partial and easily influenced by the crowd reaction to have given 2 of those rounds to Lee... And i'm coming at this from the POV of a person who generally likes Lee and i think he is the better dancer in that funk/bboy flow sense of the word.
A clear victory would be a 5-0 for the judges not a 3-2. Apparently it's close hence they see things you don't. + Factoring in other rounds in the light of repetition+ factoring in only seeing it once as a judge and not having the ability to rewind and pause to look for slip ups and details.. props to the judges for having a difficult job.

Every breaker goes there for the win otherwise they wouldn't be there for what's known it's tough field this year alone 2,000+ breakers compete to even qualify only the top 15 + defending champion are qualified. Whatever judgement system you choose, whatever aspect of breaking you look at Amir took it. Execution - Amir. Musicality - Amir. Flow - Amir. Originality - Amir. Style & character - Amir.

This battle is outrageous. Amir uses new combos, he moves much more than his opponent and is more complete. Lee is good but very far from amir. It is too short in its passages. The real champion of BC one 2022 is amir. If he was American, he would certainly have been a champion. Nobody comes close to his ankle right now. It is obvious that we wanted to eliminate it at all costs.
Great battle, but I think both displayed very different approaches to dance. You’ll give the win to whichever one you value more. For me, it’s Amir. He’s reached a level of creativity and mastery that permeates each and every movement. Lee is a really impressive dancer, but is more trick-focused.
That’s why I’m not really hyped up seeing a red bull bc one event anymore… I don’t care about the winner anymore.. I just watch to enjoy their art and dance.. I know some battles will be rigged, and the judging system needs to be change
Amir won. Clearly. I really don’t get how Lee’s slow motion gimmick carries him as far as it does. He has some fantastic moves, but man is he over-dependent on his shallow bag of tricks. On the other hand, Amir’s creativity is nearly bottomless.
This is why I will never gonna be excited anymore about this event. The judging system is meh! Every year there are issues with the judging system. It's like breaking is becoming politics lol

It was a close battle. Lee fell off in the second round and had a very short third round, where Amir was consistently good in all three rounds. Round 1: tie Round 2: Amir Round 3: Amir
I like Lee but his sets are all structured the same. A little bit of top rock then he does a slow mo after go down and always into a windmill or a flare…With Amir you never know what comes next
People are so mistaken thinking bboy is all about moves. Yes Amir arguably had better moves but lee swagged on him. In a cool calm and collected way. Look at round 3. He dropped that insane power move but didn’t get overhyped. Business as usual for him. Personality matters and looking at the judges, most of them clearly said they value character / confidence / battle aura. (Go watch the pre-show interview)
The judges are bias and don't know what they're watching. They made countless bad decisions through out red bull bc one. You telling me menno beat killa koaya

Lee had moves, flair & ‘presence’ (something Amir.. & some eastern european battlers tend to lack) e.g Amri’s crew mate from predatorz (boot2z).. that dude used to be incredible. But usually fell short when it came to flava / presence. Any completion with more style-head type judges and he’d struggle a bit more. It’s reality. No hate here
I trying to breakdance but I’m 30 starting with a flare, I believe the secret it’s to be able to learn mentally then my body will follow, my brain has to feel my body being as light as a plumage
I know I’m like a year late but…. I don’t think Amir was robbed. He seemed really lack luster until the 3rd round. His vibe seemed off from the start and honestly I think people are being slightly biased here. Now Lee wasn’t perfect he definitely had some mistakes and repeat moves. But overall I thought he did really well. 😊
i didnt win any competition but since i dance from 2007 and have seen many battles and battled few times i give to amir redbull have alot of robery in judging since the past so i still believe even if amir was slow he win this 1 !!!!
