Hi, Megan! I love your channel. My Mom sent me your link as we both love Yorkies. My Mom responded to your lovely video earlier about her Yorkie. She's the one who commented that she lost her Yorkie who was 14 years old. I grew extremely close to Her as well. I always loved animals but never saw myself as owning one. As we all go through our own challenges, I had several severe health challenges and through that experienced what it was like to receive the unconditional love of an animal--my Mother's sweet Yorkie. She had a Lhasa-Poo before Minnie, named Sophie, who had passed in 2004, and was very sweet too and showed special love when I first got sick. From then on, I am now an official Dog/Animal lover! We are praying that if it is God's will, we will be Blessed with another sweet Yorkie. You are such a breath of fresh air and the love you show is revealed in your sweet babies, and we love your cat too, what a sweet Family of Love, you have! I am getting my yorkie on March 22 I have been watching your videos. They have helped me a lot by I have never had a yorkie. I had a teacup chihuahua that lived to be 14. I lost her august 2020. It was gut wrenching to say the least and I am still trying to heal from it. I adopted her when she was a year old as I have never had a puppy before and that is what led me to your channel. Thank you so much for all of the information you are putting out there. I know you have helped me a lot in preparing on getting my little one. My little chihuahua came with a lot of problems when I got her. I do not believe she was taken very good care of because she had heart worms really bad but we treated her and she was a joy. But later down the road it had damaged her heart. But. We treat3 her with medicine twice a day every day and she lived to be 14. She was my baby. My grandson saw how bad I was grieving and found me this little yorkie. I have not gotten him yet but am already attached. I do have a question though. I was wondering do you brush your yorkie teeth and if you do could you give me some tips on how to get my new puppy use to having his teeth brushed. I am sure if you start while they are young it will be easier. At what age do you start brushing there teeth? Also I do believe in feeding my dog the very best and I agree with you on justfoodbforrdogs.com. I was wondering which two foods that they sell do your yorkie like the best? I am so sorry for your loss, losing a beloved companion is so hard, because their love is so pure and easy. It is easy to love, and be loved by a dog. I am really excited for you to be getting a yorkie puppy, you are going to be so in love, and your puppy is very lucky. I would start getting the puppy used to having a mini tooth brushing session about a week after you get it. Anything that they get used to when they are young will just become normal, and then you can do it always. I am so glad that you are enjoying my channel:). Love your Yorkies and the Yorkie videos. Yes, I am actually a new mom, never had dogs in my life and I believe in the commitment to give them a lot of exercise and play. I have her run in the house as it is too cold outside “for me”. 😂. All you can teach us on Yorkies I love it.
I simply adore these videos......I had my yorkie "Poohbear" for 15 years before we had to help him cross over.....I was a mess for months...he was my baby. So...Yorkies have a special place in my heart. I got a maltese named Teddy Bear, and while different he was so friendly to everyone, and loved anyone! He was 10 and I had to help him pass over due to cancer, it broke my heart and it's only been 6 months but I still cry just talking about him. Not sure if I will get another baby as I am now 65 years with Rheumatoid and other health issues so I sure do not want to pass before a furbaby but we'll see what the universe has in store for me. Perhaps a older baby that needs love? Thank you for sharing your precious babies with us.
Wow what a good pup- my yorkie doesn’t like to be groomed, brushed or anything. He would never stay around like yours. He is 8 now and we love him so much. Thank you for sharing ❤️ blessings, mary k
Also question: how do I train my Yorkie’s hair to grow on her face for ponytails and also her legs and feet. What I mean is, like when I take her to the groomer. Not sure if they should trim any or not. I like her body to be short hair but want her face, legs and paws with lots if hair like yours. Thank you 🙏
Your Yorkies are beautiful. I have a beautiful Yorkie also. She is 13 years old. She has dementia and is having trouble seeing. Topaz is our life. We love her so much. We had a male yorkie also. His name was Moses but we lost him in 2019. It was one of the most dramatic things we have ever been through. I really enjoy your videos and I love your yorkies. Thanks for sharing them with us,

They have hair, not fur so I don’t notice much shedding. I would recommend visiting a breeder to make sure you don’t have a reaction. Also brush every day, bath once per week, get a heap vacuum and an IQ air air filter. Maybe I should make a video on how to reduce allergens? Have you watched “ are your kids hypoallergenic?”
My friends have a silky (unless it's just a giant 15lb Yorkie) that does not shed at all, and doesn't trigger my siblings' allergies. Also, typically a bigger Yorkie has less health issues down the line in my expiration.

Loves people! My first one was named Hannah! She was a little bigger , and so smart ,I lost her , I 😭 my eyes out! My husband wanted me to get another one! He lived Hannah so much too! I said no ! Not now ! I’m not ready so him and my sister got tired of me crying all the time so she said we’re gonna find you another Yorkie! She got on my lab-top and found Anna! And she was meet yo mine ! Found out she was born on my Birthday! Isn’t that amazing! Didn’t realize it until I got her home! May I ask you what do you shampoo yours with ! Anna has a little dry skin! Hi Megan, love your videos, I have a dog that I found 5 years ago and haven’t known the breed of; somebody had suggested to me that he might be a “gold dust yorkie” when I indicated that I didn’t know the breed. He is almost all white, with tan spots but besides that he does look like a yorkie And certainly has yorkie mannerisms. I wasn’t super familiar with the breed so that’s what brought me to your videos. Thank you!

I always bring a picture of how I want my dog to look to the groomer, just like you would bring to a human hairstylist.

How do you get the pups to let you groom them without any drama?
They just get used to it over time, and I am very gentle.
