    My neighbor is selling one of these all stock, I will take some pictures so I can figure out exactly what it is. I know it is a early 70's.

    There are millions of rear engine rear wheel drive Beetles as well as front engine front wheel drive Beetles, BUT it seems nobody was ever interested in building a mid engine Beetle with a 914 platform or other tubular frame ? That would be the air and oil cooled BUGSTER !!!

      modified VW Typ4 (Bug have normaly a Typ1)

      lol, VW build all of the T4, VW t2b came with a T4 2L.
      The porsche 914 had a t4 2L (GB) VW engine, only cylinderhead was specific and have the porsche AND vw logo on it
      this engine was 90% a vw bus engine.
      So every T4 aren't porsche but VW engine.
      The only beetle with "porsche engine" was the ones swaped with flat 6.
      In this case, it's just a T4 VW engine with big bore kit and big crankshaft.
