I like how the quality from 2002 is better than what we’ve gotten the past 2 years from this race
the 2019 one was pretty good
Awesome video, I love looking at these before I race
That move down the hill in the girl's race was incredible
the absolute BRICK of a cell phone is my favorite part
Awesome upload, thanks!
I think Ryan Hall, Dathen Ritzenhein, and Alan Webb’s race have something to say about that. You only have 2 American record holders in this race (Lopez and Galen) but they had all 3 broken American records
Great announcing by Matt Versagian!
i wonder if we have 2002 somewhere?
It's amazing to me that back in 2003 they didn't think about showing the time or stopwatch on the race. That's like watching baseball, football or basketball and they don't show the score during the game. Thankfully now when we see these Championship races, they show the time and constantly let us know what distance the runners are during the race.
Shirtless yahoos; announcer who doesn't know about the running atmosphere. That happens all the time in running, people running towards the racers and cheering the races on. If you are into running, you don't even really think about people running up to the racers and cheering them on.
Serious foreshadowing by Bob Kennedy when he compliments Jenny Barringer (Simpson) about her future: @19:01
Ben true maine ledgend
The boys' international race was tremendous! Anyone who managed to outkick Galen was VERY special.
great! if you have any more of these videos in HQ, please share
Why do they always have some shitty rock guitar playing in the background like they do for the Alan Webb interview here? (21:46)
2007 boys race stacked too
Those “shirtless yahoos” are almost certainly teammates of the competitors. The announcer would know that if he actually competed in the sport he’s announcing.
The Salazar comments aged like cow's milk
Before Beiber was Beiber...@ 27:12m
Always fun to see how the athletes in this race progress. Top men usually seem to be top names for many years inti the future, while the girls race is a crapshoot. Safe to say the best evolutions forward came from 3rd place Jenny Simpson and 2nd place Galen Rupp.
The Pariah! (23:40)
3rd is jenny simpson btw
Sunni Olding is the best runner in the girls race, prove me weong
She lost…
@@Raneter valid point man. 😂
Colorado is not in the Midwest...
