Thank you. i noticed your archery equipment in the background. Will you please do a video (or series of videos)on the style of archery you practice?do you have recommendations for other utube channels on chinese archery?thanks again.
Hi Ed, yes I do love archery. Especially Manchu style. It will take a while before I'll make a video, but I'll appreciate your suggestion. I can recommend a facebook channel: facebook.com/groups/ManchuArchery and Scott Rodell's video's. He made a couple of clips. This is one of them: th-cam.com/video/DCyLmohIwkQ/w-d-xo.html
Golden Shower: Hello ! Thank You for the teaching. The WUJI stance about Your hand positions are forward. They are different from what I experienced. Can You explain please?
Hi Terefe, happy to hear that you like my video. As I said in the video, this is my Wuji posture. It's different for each person. In books I've read many different instructions. Hands to the side, hands in front of the thighs, and whatnot. In my teaching I emphasize what's natural for you. As a general rule, the arms hang loosely down with the armpits a bit opened (unblocked). My arms end up in the position shown. Enjoy your practice 🙏🏽
I'd not hear of "lifting the spirit" before. I'm going to incorporate that today! Great intro 👍
