*let justice be done* this cover was a blast to make! given that the song is essentially "megalovania phase 2" for undertale yellow, it can afford to be balls-to-the-walls insane the whole way through, which made learning and playing through it an adrenaline rush each time. funnily enough, i probably could've sat down and gotten a better recording (i make some mistakes in this one), but while playing this take i absolutely got the same sense i got while fighting martlet's final phase in the actual game: a scramble to the finish line, both sides (in this case, me and the piece) fighting to see who will fall first. i think that sense of desperation and manic energy is more important for this song than getting all the notes 100% right, and hopefully u agree so yeah, enjoy! more uty covers coming soon, hopefully :) oh yeah i almost forgot! this is the first cover i've done where i'm actually using a high quality mic! i recorded the video with my phone but recorded the audio with the mic i'm now using for streaming. hopefully the change is noticeable!
I do think the sound quality is a bit better, however the mic is still getting clipped a ton- I've had this issue myself when trying to record actual acoustic pianos, cuz pianos are fucking loud, rip. Also nice playing :)
