You are 100% right, also don't forget that The Prophet is basically the reason that both Headhunterz & Wildstylez got discovered and signed back then on Scantraxx.
@@betraderzzz ikr, thats why i mentioned him. also he is the founder of scantraxx so there might be even more djs who probably wouldnt be where theyre at rn without him
I'm glad to see Wasted Penguinz on this list. I love their now his style so much and it really is speaking to my Soul and imo is highly underpraticiated cause most just wanna Rave and Wasteds music does so much more. Headhunterz on number one is absolutly no suprise. I didn't expect to see Da Tweekaz but I'm gonna mention them here anyways as they are my personal favorite Duo with their own unique party style that no other DJ group has and these two are the one who brought me into the scene in the first place but yea they are definetly not that influential. Otherwise I 100% agree with the List nice picks!
Great list! Well justified. I personally think Technoboy and Tuneboy (TnT) should have been bumped up to number 2 or at the very least 3. They are among the first true pioneers who created the Hardstyle genre, along with the likes of Dj Isaac, The Prophet, Pavo, Zany, Luna, Dana. Technoboy and Tuneboy are still pumping out bangers to this very day. I don't think any other artisits have been such a consistent and influential force from the very beginning until the current day. Look at all their aliases too. Technoboy - War Machine actually got me into hardstyle back in 2004. Tracks like Rage, Ti Sento, oh my god, double dutch darkies, vanilla sky, nu style crap, CTRL, mellow, power hour (just to name a few) all solidify them as the true "Hardstyle Masterz". And that's not even looking into all their aliases. /rant. Also I feel like Dj Isaac would also be in my top 10. Again for much of the same reason, being there from the beginning and contributing bangers until the current day.
Dj Coone 100% deserved in honourable mention, he's my hero who got me hooked into Hardstyle, founder of the DWX, back then he was huge with his jumpstyle, and then iconic classic hardstyle tracks like Million miles, ... First hard artist to take over Tmrl mainstage, with his slogan "Join Hardstyle" i think hooked alot more people to the scene, he's so dedicated even though in the last few years he kind of stepped back behind but his style still unique with lyrical tracks like Faye, Evolution is here, Yours truly,... and new style like We've got the Power with Thyron. Anyway still great list tho 🫶 Spread the love of hardstyle from Vietnam 🇻🇳
I would like to add Coone as at least honorable mention, he was the one that carried the Belgian Hardstyle/Jumpstyle scene for so long and was also a big name in the EDM scene at his prime when he captured the attention of such a bigger artist like Dimiti Vegas and Like Mike, playing alongside them at the Tomorrowland way back in the day, like 2011/12, the founder of the DWX record label, etc... The point is, I believe he had such an unique style and brought so much to the scene, he is considered a legend after all, but that's just my honest opinion. :)
I've been a hardstyle fan since 2009. Heady and Brennan were my lynchpins to this genre. I got into shuffling and jumpstyle at exactly the same time, and Power of the Mind, Rock Civilization, and Lose my Mind were the songs I started practicing to. I love old school hardstyle sounds so much, but euphoric hardstyle has really stolen my heart. Being able to tell Wasted Penguinz to his face while having a beer together that his music shaped me as a teenager is one of my top moments of last year.
Love the list, hard to argue. Also agree with the comments, honorable mentions. Someone has has to mention code black flying the aussie flag, hard to get him in the top 10 though.

Love your list! for me number one is still the prophet. How he reinvented himself after hardcore. Still the OG of hardstyle loved his last set on defqon 1 2023 and of course his set back in 2008.
I am hardtyle fan from other part of the world where hardstyle is nowhere to be found in night life, clubs or music festivals. My first faded memories of hardtyle tracks contains songs from coone, showtek and heady. Later I fell in love with the style with tracks like scrap attach, dragon born, rise of celestials, FTS etc around 2017-18 ( yes I started too late as I said hardstyle is nowhere to be found around me). It has been a hell of journey for me to discover RAW, reverse bass, classic hits, hardcore, frenchcore, extra RAW, RAWphoric, and SZP and I can say the list is almost perfect as someone like me knows and listens to these artists on regular basis. Still I believe prophet could have been in this list.
I do agree with all the artists on this list, but I would personally move Delete to number 2 because of how much he changed the sound of raw, creating spoontech with Vazard, and the amount of rawstyle artists that are some of the biggest names in hardstyle now (Warface, Malice, Sickmode, Rooler). His sound has always been incredibly clean and there hasn't been anything like it in the raw scene since. Everytime I hear a Delete song at any festival, it almost immediately makes it the best set of the night for me and I still actively listen to his music on a regular basis.
Im a trance fan all the way but growing up hardstyle was big. I don’t really listen to it but I known most of the artist so that proofs they are deserved to be on the list
Here's my top 5 favourite Hardstyle producers: 1) Da Tweekaz 2) TNT (Technoboy and Tuneboy) 3) Sub Zero Project 4) Coone 5) D-Block and S-te-fan I mostly listen to Rawphoric and the traditional Hardstyle (the reverse bass one).
Yeah, I mean I understand why you wouldn't consider SZP as they haven't been so much in the scene as the other legends, but, as Da tweekaz, like them or not, they've attracted way more people to Hardstyle than others mentioned in the list.
Hardstyle is also over 2 decennia old now. Best sets imo Noisecontrollers at preparty period 2014-2018 was awesome. With them litteraly everyone went mental during their sets. Raw hardstyle by far Warface/Warforce. Triumph. And Release the Kraken. Refuse to follow. And then the rest that have outstanding tracks. Hardstyle Masterz - Age of reverse bass. Showtek - Green stuff. Brennan Heart - Imagenary and Loose my mind. Wikdstylez - Kyhu noisecontroller remix. Epic The different anthems for Defqon and Decibel So many cool tracks
for me the best hardstyle artist of all time is and was headhunterz because it explains self having so many iconic songs like sacrifice the power of the mind project one even in the 2010s with power of music from within etc
Wasted Penguinz was the Linkin Park of my teenage years, even today the songs they've made pull the emotion string My Honourable mentions would be Da Tweekaz and Sub Zero Project. SZP gets meme'd on but theyre creating some very unique sounds that no one else is doing, while being a good bridge to bring the normie into the scene. Same with Da Tweekaz being an amazing bridge for the normies
I have to say it very clearly: we are the ones who grew up with Gabber and Hardstyle. We understand music and we have the money to be able to afford events these days. But I don't want to. In the past, you couldn't decide where you wanted to go. Today, for example, DEFQON means a summer holiday. It's not Parookaville, it's Q-Base. It's hakke, not shuffle.
I think Wasted Penguins are the Only miss on the list. I would rotate them for The Prophet. Also (completely Personally) I’d put Delete number 2. I don’t think Rawstyle would be where it is without him. He was and in a way still is the most advanced raw artist we have ever seen. It’s remarkable that songs on his album still sound fresh 6 years later.
Solid list! Although, my top 3 would be 3 Donkey Rollers, 2 Headhunterz and 1 Noisecontrollers. I truly believe the Donkeys deserve that spot over Showtek. The Prophet would as well. Why NC first and HHZ second? Basicaly preference. I won't deny that HHZ had a bigger impact on the scene than NC, but most of that has been Scantraxx/Qdance marketing over the years imho. HHZ has always been the one overexposed for marketing and thus, been the most popular one. Even back in the day, it was always HHZ this and HHZ that while sadly, Wildstylez and NC got scraps. My point is that HHZ has always been the most influencial Hardstyle producer because he's always been the most popular. (The samez could be said for Angerfist in the HC scene for example) But of course it isn't only popularity, HHZ made some insane bangers, such as The Sacrifice or Power of the Mind, or the remix of Rate Reducer. My highlight year for HHZ would be 2007. Where his production was truly musicaly influencial. As for number 1, Noisecontrollers. He's always been overshadowed by HHZ for reasons explained above. To me the sheer quantity and quality tracks he put out between 2007 and 2014 especialy is something truly special. Legendary tracks like Crump, Shreek, Revolution is here, Promises, Ctrl.Alt.Delete, Yellow Minute, So High, Summer in the City, Down Down and so on. I could go on and on but you get the point. They also had amazing tracks before the release of Crump in 2007 like, We are the Noisecontrollers or Wannabe and amazing tracks after 2014 like Spirit of Hardstyle, the Feeling of and etc. I grew up with the trio HHZ, Wildstylez and NC and NC always stood out for me. But aside from preference bias, you gotta mention scene shifting productions: -Ctrl.Alt.Delete changed the scene forever, it is to this day still my favourite track of all time. Perfectly representing Hardstyle and what in my mind, the genre should be. It is one if not the most influencial track of the scene and it was really something back in the day listening to every producer of the scene trying to emulate his Kicks. -Gaia 2008, massively underrated track, that once again, intruduced a Kick you were going to ear for years to come, especialy in early RAW. -It was no secret Bas was a huge Trance fan, and it shows in his production at the time. He was a pillar in bringing back Trance elements in Hardstyle to create what we now call Euphoric. He's also a insanely talented producer. He and Audiofreq are to this day, still the best. (2025, still no collab between the two kills me) E=NC² and All around albums, do i need to say anything else? We could also mention sets and livesets. Qlimax 2013, the best set ever period. Followed by Emporium 2008, Qlimax 2009 and of course, InQontrol 2009. X-Qlusive 2012 was also one of the greatest edition. And finally, the aliases. -Universe Twisters, with only one track, White Stars (Remade in 2014 with Light) -SMD, who doesn't know Just Like You and the Just as Easy remix? -Roughstyler used between 2005 and 2007 -William Syndrome, used for Euphoric experimentation -Pavelow which he used for his Dubstyle and Dub projects -Kasparov, Bas made some of the greatest Hardcore as well. He left the project in 2012, not sure if he continued to produce tracks for it afterward. Did i also mention that he "ghosted" tracks for Zany (Angel of the Sun, Maximum Force) and Pavo (Elektronik, Raven, Communicate, Let's Go, Back in time, and proly more lol)? I encourage anyone to check his tracks from between 2007 and 2014, his album "10 years of Noisecontrollers" is a great way to do that.
If HH never left he probably would be no.1 on my list, but the consistency and overall legacy of TnT overshadows everyone else tbh. Wildi/NC/Showtek doesn't come near TnT imo.
More or less agree, but forgot Coone is definitely big mistake :-). Not even for his music, but also for label production. Dov Elkabas should be here too.
Yea they were the first to bring the classic hardstyle kick into the scene from the ususal reverse bass but Heady I think was the one who refined it. Thougn I absolutly agree they started it
Mmm, this would be not my list but its taste i guess. I don't really get your reasoning about Showtek. You can't be in the list by only making banging tunes (your words). Showtek made no impact, or at least way less, if you compare it with at least 10 other artists. They were away for over a decade, banking their account with other music, and were only active in the baby years of hardstyle. Ye, they made FTS, well, hippy hoi. After that loyalty to the hardstyle sound was gone. I could understand why you would put them 10th or 9th but seeing DBSTF on 10 and Showtek on 2 is mindblowing for me and i am not even talking about putting Showtek above the likes of NC and WSZ. Where is B-Front btw? Would he be 11? But as i said, fair play. Maybe in aussieland things were different received during the first years of hardstyle. And i love WP btw, but i dont see them higher than Da Tweekaz if you only look at impact and act within the scene. (Dutchie)
I think your video editing should include some audio filtering on the top end, your 'S' is super high treble and is harsh on the listeners ear. Good video otherwise!
Definitely not a paid vid (I wish bro) I just can’t see da Tweekaz tracks getting played as prolific as showtek classics do. Even in just normal classic sets their old catalogue is rinsed by any dj - but Tweekaz were a hard omission for sure
id like to argue that dj prophet might have had a bigger influence than some other djs in that list

We could also mention sets and livesets. Qlimax 2013, the best set ever period. Followed by Emporium 2008, Qlimax 2009 and of course, InQontrol 2009. X-Qlusive 2012 was also one of the greatest edition.
And finally, the aliases.
-Universe Twisters, with only one track, White Stars (Remade in 2014 with Light)
-SMD, who doesn't know Just Like You and the Just as Easy remix?
-Roughstyler used between 2005 and 2007
-William Syndrome, used for Euphoric experimentation
-Pavelow which he used for his Dubstyle and Dub projects
-Kasparov, Bas made some of the greatest Hardcore as well.
Great reasoning mate thank you!
@@slendyshow Always a pleasure to spread my NC bias 💪
Stream Gang!
Hell yeah ❤
@@slendyshow really enjoyed your stream, cant wait for the next one! keep it up!
Heady 4 Ever
I’d argue WP should be a lot higher. I’d swap Prophet for Showtek
You reckon WP top 5?
my Top 5 in order:
Phuture Noize
Phuture Noize
Phuture Noize
Phuture Noize
Phuture Noize
Phuture Noize is something too :) You should listen to MYST
So you like phuture noize?
@ Yeah, he's one of the best in my opinion, unique
Who do you think should be number 1?
Can't believe you didn't have S3rl at #1
Yes what a shame. My favourite hardstyle DJ DJ S3rl
Not sure if sarcasm or serious lol
myb warface ? i'm curious
good shout but hard to kick any of these existing artists out
If HH never left he probably would be no.1 on my list, but the consistency and overall legacy of TnT overshadows everyone else tbh. Wildi/NC/Showtek doesn't come near TnT imo.
Great shout
No frontliner?
Very close call and a tough omission
u know what else is massive haha
Go on 🤣
More or less agree, but forgot Coone is definitely big mistake :-). Not even for his music, but also for label production. Dov Elkabas should be here too.
Both good picks!
Top 10 and no Donkey Rollers? These guys Immeasurably changed early hardstyle
Yea they were the first to bring the classic hardstyle kick into the scene from the ususal reverse bass but Heady I think was the one who refined it. Thougn I absolutly agree they started it
Thought about including them but decided they had very little impact in the modern day compared to these artists who still get their tracks rinsed
Well... Strange list. No focus on the history of hardstyle
Who would you have there?
N° 0 Project One
fuark the maths checks out
Dbstf should be no.1….
That’s a huge call what makes you say that?
(Dutchie)
Yeah it’s super hard to narrow down a list for sure and good points about showtek!
Where's Floorcrushers? aka M4ZE PUSHER, aka Denekamps Gespuis, aka Bloodcage, aka Kid Morbid, aka Menace II Society... aka Angerfist :D
Mentioned this is hardstyle only
@slendyshow for the memes, my guy ;)
I think your video editing should include some audio filtering on the top end, your 'S' is super high treble and is harsh on the listeners ear. Good video otherwise!
Thanks for the tips!
Atmozfears?
Nowhere near top 10 for me
you seem to have mispronounced Wildstylerz
Lel
I'm not sure I understand the hype for headhunterz still. I love his original stuff, but songs like Live Forever are so incredibly boring to me.
I enjoyed live forever - beats the zaag stuff of late by a country mile
Since you didnt include Da Tweekaz and instead put in Showtek, IO am guessing this was a paid video. Showtek hasnt done proper hardstyle in 15 years.
Definitely not a paid vid (I wish bro) I just can’t see da Tweekaz tracks getting played as prolific as showtek classics do. Even in just normal classic sets their old catalogue is rinsed by any dj - but Tweekaz were a hard omission for sure
Noice
mwaz x
Wouldn't have headhunterz without the prophet
