[crosspost] I have watched this so many times, in different videos from different angles. The buildup gives me empathetic tension, and then Ashley McBryde pulls out that huge voice at the end and gives total relief to all the audience and watchers to celebrate with her in that moment. But does she say, "sad-haired country boy" at the end? It sounds like that (instead of "long-haired country boy") in several different videos.
Elle has no business sharing a stage with Ashley McBryde.
Love this song by CD but it would be my advice to both of these ladies to make an attempt shed a few LBS. If for no other reason than for their Health. No rudeness or disrespect to either Elle or Ashley who's music I really like because it is so real with true to life events. Never wanted to be that girl.
