Identify Themes and Gaps in Literature
    1. Find out connections and relationships between the sources you’ve read
    2. Trends and patterns (in terms of theories, methods and results)
    3. Themes (spot concepts and questions repeat again and again across literatures)
    4. Debates, conflicts and contradictions (similar methods but different results? Against general consensus?)
    5. Pivotal publications (influential studies, e.g. Gravity)
    6. Gaps (what have not been done?)

Ugh how to write a literature review? Add terms related to my research. Well why can't I find ANY literature reviews on similar topics or an example of a theme literature review with collective effervescence and grief. If a literature review is supposed to let you know what has been said why can't* find anything

Wait so when identifying gaps, what do we do with that? Do we have to try and overcome that gap or do we just state the gap in the literature review and leave it at that?

hey quick dumb question : i have to submit a 2 pages preliminary literature review in 5 days , and i have a lot of resources , is it okay if i only base the comparison on just the abstracts, since its nit the actual thesis that im gonna submit ? like is it safe , or itll be obvious that i only read the abstracts .. lol?

Hey, this might be a silly question. But do you normally have one theme and then you narrow it down into different sections? Is there a step by step guide I can follow. Do you normally brainstorm your idea first then look for examples and arguments what is the general rule? And thank you in advance!
