4:26 This tradition is also there in "Rajputs" (Indian warriors). The blade has to be quenched each time it's taken out.
The weapons are worshipped and considered holy, and on wedding the bond or tie happens between bride and groom's Sword. Not the person himself. This started because they were mostly out on wars unable to attend their own weddings. Also they use Singh surname which translates to a lion.
