I get what your saying, but kindergarteners and that age group try to put a negative view on their crush to get away from the fact that they admire he/she. It's awkward for them. So unless you enroll them into love philosophy 101, not much will change.

@Aluminix Although I do see your view point with this, this mentality can follow throughout school, which can be very negative considering bullying is such a big thing these days. Not only that but teaching young girls that "If they hurt you they really love you" can be a really problematic thing when they actually get in a relationship in later years. It can possibly contribute to mentally and physically abusive relationships. It is somewhat normalizing the idea of abusing your partner or spouse.
Kaitlyn I get that, but most parents will discipline their children. How many men have you seen in the news hit/abuse their spouse because they loved them? I get the mentality of that can really harm a kid psychologically, but most of the time, it does not appear to be the motive of abuse. Thanks for the reply, I hope you see my perspective on this subject.

So interesting the way kids already start to deceive in order to appease at such a young age. Must be in human nature to lie.
It's human nature to solve problems. Truth and lies are concepts of our perception, but they don't make up the fundamentals of our perception. Any animal would take to lies as much as to truth, depending on which solves the conflict.
Not all lies can be put down to differences in perception though. It is clear that the kids in the video intended to lie.
I'm not saying they see it as a truth or a lie. I'm saying that most of the kids probably aren't looking at truth as a priority or a tangible concept, and instead are just looking for the solution to the problem. It just so happens that the seeming solution to make people happy is to lie. This is actually an interesting example of how truth and lies aren't innate, but taught concepts.

However, we should remember that unlike other animals, we have moral concepts, with which we judge the graveness and harm of the lies to the person we're lying to as much as to ourselves. Lying, as many other "natural" problem-solving attitudes, should not be seen as a "let it be" normal action, but a reprehensible one.
Matheus Moreira I agree. I'm just saying it is too quick to judge and kinda fallacious. There is no lie or truth that has to develop. The brain is going to develop in such a way that is easiest in its environment. If that is the imagination and paranoia from lies, or the rationale and critical thinking of truth has a lot more to do with the environment than "human nature."
EDIT: It's basically like saying it is in "rat nature" to be in a maze because the rat can navigate the maze well at a young age. The rat can navigate mazes well because of how their brain works, but they aren't necessarily meant to be in mazes. We lie well. It doesn't mean we were meant to lie.
