In today's thrilling installment, we journey from Langza to two remarkable destinations: Komic, the Highest Village in the World, and Hikkim, home to the Highest Post Office on the planet.
As we traverse the snow-covered roads and treacherous black ice, our trusty Ford Endeavor proves its mettle, effortlessly navigating the challenging terrain. The view from atop the Himalayas is nothing short of mesmerizing, prompting us to capture the breathtaking scenery with our Insta360 X3 camera, immortalizing the moment in stunning 360-degree video shots.
Arriving at Komic, our plans for a tea at the world's highest restaurant are foiled by the harsh winter conditions. However, serendipity smiles upon us as we stumble upon a newly opened café aptly named "World's Highest Cafe," where we warm ourselves with steaming cups of coffee before continuing our journey.
Next stop: Hikkim. Here, amidst the snow-capped peaks, we indulge in some souvenir shopping, selecting fridge magnets and postcards to commemorate our visit. Though we opt not to send a postcard this time, mindful of past delays, the memories we've made will last a lifetime.
As the sun begins to set on another unforgettable day in Spiti Valley, we bid farewell to Hikkim and eagerly anticipate our next adventure: a visit to the iconic Kee Monastery, where we'll attempt the ultimate mountain snack challenge-cooking Maggi amidst the snowy peaks!
