We rented a house boat to experience Voyageurs National Park. We rented from Voyagaire Lodge in Crane Lake Minnesota. Our experience was wonderful. We were joined by some very dear long time friends. We traversed through Crane Lake, Sand Point Lake, Namakan Lake and finally Kabetogama Lake. We also visited Kettle Falls and explored the Kettle Falls area with help of 16' skiff / fishing boat. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the days and the nights. At night, the stars were incredible. We could see the Milky Way and the Big Dipper. We had hoped to see the Aurora Borealis, but the moon was to influential. We hiked some trails, explored some islands and simply had a great time with great friends.
