TVP VTU isn't all that bad if you play it with the stock tower and the 194 pen gun (gives you -8 degrees of gun depression). With a turbo its pretty much a cdc that accelerates slower but turns much faster. I didn't suffer playing through it nearly as badly as i did when i leveled the UDES 14 Alt 5 (maybe its not as bad when fully leveled, but i couldn't stand it so i never really played it after getting rid of it), the perishing and t34-2 are also much worse
Its funny because you can get a 2nd class on the Shitvagn with a mere 1500 damage (thats like 800 base xp on a win) thats how bad that tank compared to the Skoda haha

There was a time where tier 8 premium tanks were actually balanced, the tank to stop this was the Skorpion G, it had a completely overpowered gun and even though it had no armour to compensate it still proved far too much for a tier 8. Compared to the Skoda the Skorpion is a complete joke

I was lucky to get this thing in the Chrismas boxes, played 12 games with it so far, and my best game with 1344 base experience only got me a class 1 mastery badge. I checked expectation values of the T56 compared to other well regarded tier 8 premiums, and this one has BY FAR the highest expectation values. That basically sums up how OP this thing really is.
Boi, this thing just needs to cycle 4 times do do 4k dmg in a tier 8 match, imagine how much a T-44 has to shoot to pull that sh*t, heck, imagine how much a Tiger-2 has to shoot to do that.
My poor poor senlac. 14 pens and 1.9k damage. This thing shits on the 75.01k too. All that has going for it is alpha and this tank completely nullifies that.
What is ridiculous is that the IS 6 has weaker damage, dispersion, penetration values, and shell velocity, while maintaining the same speed, DPM, and aim time at the same tier. The Skoda should be upgraded to tier 9 premium or the IS 6 (along with a bunch of other tier 8 premiums and tech tree tanks) should get some massive buffs.

Yeah I was in a match on Empires Border with my E-50 M it was a down tier to tier 8, I played everything correctly in this match won the north flank with a couple other teammates. But when the time came to rush down the hill and finish off the Skoda, I put a round into it's side, *non-pen* then I proceed to loose 1000 of my 2050 hitpoints, despite the fact I played correctly... really frustrating when you play a balanced tank that has plenty of flaws that make it balanced. Only to get punished by some crap like that, this game needs to fix it's meta with all these things that are just ridiculous to have to try and kill and/or fight.
Tier 8 tank stronger than STRV K - tier 9. What could have gone wrong? Hoardes of them in game now are rocket shooting the balance to space... Not a pleasure playing against 3 of those.

Imagine what 2 or 3 Skoda T56’s can do in a platoon. A platoon with 2 T56’s have an 1,800 alpha magazine potential and platoon with 3 T56’s with some high rolls can kill a full health Maus with 1 magazine each. IYOUXIN posted a TH-cam video of him playing the T-56 in a platoon with another T-56 and they had a 93% win rate over a few dozen battles.

lol I did the same. First game went to hill on Himmelsdorf thinking I was playing God mode. That ended up in the garage pretty quickly. Next game I did the same as I assured myself that they are making lucky shots as this thing is unstoppable. It is gathering dust for now.
I bought one box at Christmas, and it had the T-56 in it plus 2 more tanks, no good crew for it so I trained them in the T -40 and almost finished with 2nd skill and moving them back over to T-56 with half off retraining today and will start playing it again, nice video!
every single hit that I receive takes a main module. 90% of battles ammo rack. 80% of battles ammo rack and gun, 70% of battles ammo rack, gun, and crew member, 60% of battles 2 ammo rack +gun + crew member. If I receive 5 hits there's 2 ammo rack hit for sure
Lately I play a lot with WZ-111-1 4(I really enjoy it-but only with top gun) and I really just wait that someone start shooting gold on me. Response is brutal: 340 heat pen, with rolls over 500. Skooda t56, and those kind of tanks eating for dinner.

I play the su100m1which secretly has the soul of the old Bobject 264v4 (trust me it's secretly an op TD lol) where you can just play it aggressively with vary fast reload time, gun with very good pen,fast, and if you angle the td correctly you can be a russian superman, lastly the td can deal againts almost every HTs including those higher tiers, however it doesn't apply when this td meet with Skoda T56
There is no balance in WoT. Never has been and never will be. This is P2W game. I don't know if there is anything wrong with P2W but everyone should recognize it. Best players get best tanks and equipment. F2P players are just cannon fodder for paying customers. Worst thing is that there is no skill based MM, since it would help with many problems, especially at tiers 5-7 where is lots of P2W seal clubbers spamming full gold.
T56 gold pen is almost same as tornvagon standard pen. I really dont like how wg balances tanks with pen. T56 should have longer reload. The dpm is too high. Heavy burst and dpm combination with high alpha is not balanced. The alpha should be 400 for this gun to be balanced.
It hardly makes a difference in income to shoot full gold. You still get 150k-200k net profit per round while goldspamming. You can easily average 3k dpg and farm credits insanely fast.
Yesterday I had the same same situation as skill had in this video mountain pass. also in t56, the only problem is that my team melted in 4 minutes and it ended in 15:3 simulator.
I have škoda, but i am not happy to much(ofcorse its very good tank)...for me gun is pure troll and armor is not best (enemy was penetr. my turret with AP)....some games noone can pen you, some games everyone pen you like nothing....if i compare this tank with 703...oh boy, for me is 703 fun tank with pretty good ruski troll armor and good gun (i am suprise how much snapshots i hit and if you hit double shot= baby yeah).

Can we just have a mode put in the game where we could play like the game was 7 years ago without all the OP premium tanks and new tech trees that caused a massive power creep for tiers 7 and up? That's all most veteran players would play.
I bring two different load-outs with this tank. When I’m high tier I bring half AP and half APCR with a 4 HE shells and when I’m facing higher tier tanks, I bring almost all APCR and just a 3 magazines of AP shells. Intuition skill is a must for this tank.
When it was introduced I did not buy it even though I had achieved 50% in the marathon. I did not want to promote another OP tank in the game. In the meantime I have changed my mind - if WG wants to ruin the game, I can at least scrape some fun out of it while they are doing it. Not going to waste my money gambling with lootboxes, but if it is available to buy the next time I'll probably spring for it.

I have a friend that scored one of these from boxes, very lucky for only 9 boxes. The sad thing is I know it will never be played properly due to his skillset.
The boosting consumes credits and neglects the credit earning advanage of prem tank, whats left then is the crew training, but there are not that many CZ HTs for that to be any real advantage. Yes it can be used to dominate the games here and there, and just have fun, but you really have to pay for it to make that domination any close to consistent. T56 can suck just as bad if not boosted as it can excell if boosted.

I can not agree that gold means 1-2 more penetretations per game. For some flanking situations maybe, but for frontal fight its at least 50% and more pens with gold than with ap. It is coming closer to moment where no gold means no joy. It was not so just few years ago. That puts under question all marks of excellens and performance. There should not exist way to play worse than others do, because you dont shoot gold. And just imagine OP in combination with full gold. Cheers! Love your content.
when everybody uses gold ammo then the advantage disappears. WG likes it because the credit burns like hell with the gold ammo. I agree with you, gold ammo is not just 1-2 more penetration but far more impact. It changes the meta, it changes the games.
As you said, it should be Tier9. WG should add some Penetration and upgrade it to Tier9 BUT with the Tier8 outcome for the Credits. I had such good Games in that Tank, it is insane.

The Skoda is a great OP tank. But to me it is only a little fun. The Caliban is much more fun to me and it's not overpowered. But that's just me. Good day Skill!
Do you think it's more OP than the object 730 II? The armor of that tank is incredible, and the other stats aren't that much worse. I think the only big difference is the type of gun, with skoda you have the two shot autoloader, with object you can double.
sad thing is, they cannot even nerf it.. as it was sold for money.. this tank, as it is, should have maximum 2x 390 dmg and not almost a burst of 1k (with some luck)

3.5S intraclip for 920 clip damage is not long at all, consider that the T69 takes 6 seconds to deal 960 damage in its clip. a progetto 54 takes 7 seconds to deal 960 damage in its clip. consider that the progetto 54 with 320 damage has the same 3.5S intraclip as this tank but this tank has 460 damage. that is insanely broken, and the gun is not even remotely trolly on the skoda t56. consider that a T69 has worse soft stats and yet it only has 181mm of pen
Meanwhile the actual tier 9 has 440 alpha… Honestly they should swap the pen values and make the t56 the tier 9 and make the vz.51 the premium tier 8. At least then the stats would make sense.

There is no balance in WoT. Never has been and never will be. This is P2W game. I don't know if there is anything wrong with P2W but everyone should recognize it. Best players get best tanks and equipment. F2P players are just cannon fodder for paying customers. Worst thing is that there is no skill based MM, since it would help with many problems, especially at tiers 5-7 where is lots of P2W seal clubbers spamming full gold.
T56 gold pen is almost same as tornvagon standard pen. I really dont like how wg balances tanks with pen. T56 should have longer reload. The dpm is too high. Heavy burst and dpm combination with high alpha is not balanced. The alpha should be 400 for this gun to be balanced.
imo premiums should be more like the Tornvagen in terms of Performance
It hardly makes a difference in income to shoot full gold. You still get 150k-200k net profit per round while goldspamming. You can easily average 3k dpg and farm credits insanely fast.

Yesterday I had the same same situation as skill had in this video mountain pass. also in t56, the only problem is that my team melted in 4 minutes and it ended in 15:3 simulator.
I have škoda, but i am not happy to much(ofcorse its very good tank)...for me gun is pure troll and armor is not best (enemy was penetr. my turret with AP)....some games noone can pen you, some games everyone pen you like nothing....if i compare this tank with 703...oh boy, for me is 703 fun tank with pretty good ruski troll armor and good gun (i am suprise how much snapshots i hit and if you hit double shot= baby yeah).
It'll get nerfed after the holidays.
Wg have done this in every Christmas update for a while.

Can we just have a mode put in the game where we could play like the game was 7 years ago without all the OP premium tanks and new tech trees that caused a massive power creep for tiers 7 and up? That's all most veteran players would play.
I bring two different load-outs with this tank. When I’m high tier I bring half AP and half APCR with a 4 HE shells and when I’m facing higher tier tanks, I bring almost all APCR and just a 3 magazines of AP shells. Intuition skill is a must for this tank.
This tank doesn't have APCR.
When it was introduced I did not buy it even though I had achieved 50% in the marathon. I did not want to promote another OP tank in the game. In the meantime I have changed my mind - if WG wants to ruin the game, I can at least scrape some fun out of it while they are doing it. Not going to waste my money gambling with lootboxes, but if it is available to buy the next time I'll probably spring for it.
Unless I’m mistaken, there was no marathon for the T56. It was introduced with the Czech heavies into the prem shop for like a month

My KV5 is utter crap now, made even worse by the secret MM nerf...The KV5 now is only ever tier 8 or tier 9, it NEVER now sees any lower tier tanks, in any games now.

I have a friend that scored one of these from boxes, very lucky for only 9 boxes. The sad thing is I know it will never be played properly due to his skillset.
The boosting consumes credits and neglects the credit earning advanage of prem tank, whats left then is the crew training, but there are not that many CZ HTs for that to be any real advantage. Yes it can be used to dominate the games here and there, and just have fun, but you really have to pay for it to make that domination any close to consistent. T56 can suck just as bad if not boosted as it can excell if boosted.
The alpha on that Skoda T56 should have never been higher than 390

I can not agree that gold means 1-2 more penetretations per game. For some flanking situations maybe, but for frontal fight its at least 50% and more pens with gold than with ap. It is coming closer to moment where no gold means no joy. It was not so just few years ago. That puts under question all marks of excellens and performance. There should not exist way to play worse than others do, because you dont shoot gold. And just imagine OP in combination with full gold. Cheers! Love your content.
when everybody uses gold ammo then the advantage disappears. WG likes it because the credit burns like hell with the gold ammo. I agree with you, gold ammo is not just 1-2 more penetration but far more impact. It changes the meta, it changes the games.

WG should add some Penetration and upgrade it to Tier9 BUT with the Tier8 outcome for the Credits.

I have had my Type-59 one shot killed for 1,430 dmg more than once by this thing. With AP. That is just Stupid.

Hardening + turbo + vert stab is my go to setup
Turbo is overrated and useless on pretty much every tank apart from very slow ones like Maus, Type 4/5, E100, JGPZe100, T95, Tortois, ....

Do you think it's more OP than the object 730 II? The armor of that tank is incredible, and the other stats aren't that much worse. I think the only big difference is the type of gun, with skoda you have the two shot autoloader, with object you can double.

VZ 55 maybe tier 10.5 , but it does not dominant another tanks same tier or 1 tier higher as Skoda t56 .
I feel like you should play the tank in it's most op version to show how broken it is. I understand you don't shoot gold to increase the challenge for yourself but if everyone else does it, you should too. At least in this kind of video.

I don't think it's too OP. The gun is very trolly and the 3.5s intraclip is long.
3.5S intraclip for 920 clip damage is not long at all, consider that the T69 takes 6 seconds to deal 960 damage in its clip. a progetto 54 takes 7 seconds to deal 960 damage in its clip. consider that the progetto 54 with 320 damage has the same 3.5S intraclip as this tank but this tank has 460 damage. that is insanely broken, and the gun is not even remotely trolly on the skoda t56. consider that a T69 has worse soft stats and yet it only has 181mm of pen
