I got gipped from PayPal a week ago. They was doing transactions for scammers. I got my money back very quickly. I found out that their money transfer license was expired for Alabama and Tennessee. Yeah expired. So they are not to do business with anyone in them two states till they get it up to date. They started treating me very well and I received my money back quickly after I pointed that out to them.
They are doing transactions for this scam sight for Dewalt tools.
I seen many comments on their Twitter account about doing folks wrong.

PayPal did not support me in a scam from a fraudulent website and would not support getting my credit card payment through PayPal rescinded. I have deleted all my PayPal payment information. Never again!

Today we removed PayPal from our store, over a year of perfect transactions and 10s of thousands of pounds through them and just out blue this week have frozen several thousand pounds for no reason, asked for ID sent ID, then asked to sign new paperwork again on who Director is, same as year ago and sent that, days on and non stop calling them and twice having phone cut off on me I don't have that money!!! Never use them again!!

Addresses are always shared with the recipients when you send money.. Many people's locations have been tracked with this flaw in PayPal system.
If you send money to an email address, but you don't want the other end knows about your address. It is not possible by default as recipients always get notified by the address of the sender.
It is not just for shipping addresses.
Is the receiver's address shared with the sender? Is it better to link debit or credit card to Paypal?

The conflict resolution system should be pretty good. But when it's something they can't really make an easy determination on, it seems they'll side with the seller. Doing this let's PayPal keep their percentage.
Been getting texts from Paypal (real) giving me a verification code that I hadn't asked for. Paypal's advice when calling to report this is not to click on it. They cannot explain the logic of this, there is nothing to click on, it's their phone number. Asking them for written verification I'm then told to look it up on the website. I tell them I can't find it they say call us back if you can't find it. I reiterate this and they tell me it's not on the website. The more questions I ask, the more nonsensical the answers become. I ultimately give up in disgust.
@@johncaccioppo1142 It usually means that someone has your password, but their system doesn't recognize the device that they're logging in from. So it wants you to confirm. It happened to me. Time to change your password.

My money has been frozen in PayPal for three months and I'm told I can't touch it for six months in total. There is absolutely no reason and I have read countless horror stories. Please stay away as much as you can guys!!

As a eBay seller the site recommends to ship after they pay not before
When you make a payment to the seller, the money will be held by either ebay or paypal. Unless there is proof that you have received the item, the money will not be released.
If I make a purchase from Facebook marketplace and want a seller to ship the item. What protection do I have if the seller mails me a brick instead of the item they were supposed to be selling?
Great question. First, that’s one of the risks with buying on marketplace. However you can report them through marketplace now that it’s a more robust system. If you pay through PayPal, you usually have seller protection.
I'm trying to a concert the girl said once I verify that the tickets are real I consider money through PayPal is there any protection on that a person-to-person and not a business transaction just in case the tickets are fake you know
No, person to person which is listed as "friends and family" in the PayPal app goes to that person instantly as soon as you send the money and there's no way of getting it back once you send it. The "goods and services" has a 21 day delay for new PayPal customers before the money is released to the person you send it to so you can stop it before that 21 day period is up in case something goes wrong. There's also a way to get the "goods and services" cut down to a 7 to 14 day delay but you will have to read the instructions on how to do that. Since I'm also new to PayPal I can't tell you that over time with the service they allow you even more options to either speed up the delay under 7 to 14 days and to stall it for 21 day delay and maybe beyond, I won't know the answers to those questions until I use the service more myself but it would be nice an convenient if those options did become available.

A lot of that depends on your reputation and history with PayPal. They do tend to protect buyers though. Just take good care of your people and you’ll be OK.

I think it’s ok for them to charge you a dollar per purchase after all they have a employee who work to make sure PayPal is safe and working.

Well there a possibility, look in todays world everything from your mobile to your car (if it has gps or any computer related stuff) can be hacked . Look i being 16 my dad says hes not installing this crap because he's afraid of loosing his bank account because PayPal is linked to your bank account . And also remember this if you're under 18 like me then don't install it or link it to your bank account because PayPal will block your account
. Ok so pretty much everything in life is hackable today , so if you want to take a risk do it , look its not guaranteed that you will be hacked its a RISK ok

Yes. If you send payment tru paypal,the paypal will still hold your payment to the receive until you receive your order and then you must click the order received so that the payment may now release to the receiver of payment

Paypal consumers keeps creating account under my bank account. I had to change my account at least 3 times since 2016. I don’t even have a Paypal. It’s seems so easy to create account and they don’t even verify. Smh Idk what is going on.

Paypal couldn't care less it they process unauthorised transactions, the customer gets screwed and they get their commission 3 transactions on same day for same item from same company that I have never heard of and has a bad name online, that raised no flags with Paypal,, they still insist it was okay, the customer means nothing as long as they get their commission, utterly despicable company

You're completely wrong. Paypal IS NOT SAFE for buyers. Their "Buyer Protection" is nothing but false advertising to lure buyers into a false sense of security. Here is a direct quote I received from Paypal with regards to an $800 dispute: "if an item is materially similar to the seller's description, we do not consider it to be significantly not as described." The seller's website clearly shows returns accepted, but refused to honor it. Paypal's response about that: "that's between you and them."
