We had lots of Garfield products in my early childhood and before. I watched a home movie of my older brother's first birthday (almost a year before I was born) and when my mom woke him up, he tried to grab the Garfield alarm clock.
There's also the original version which has the older dashboard with the two circle buttons and an older base that's used in the early 1990s (used on Mr Blobby, Mini Train etc.)
