I was a senior in high school when this particular program came on. I did not do homework or chores when Johnny Dollar came on....

Just yesterday, I heard a different Curse of Kamichek on Suspense. The names and characterizations and overall plot were similar enough that I wonder if this was a collaboration (or fanfiction) between the writers, or if it was the same writer but I don't think it was. The biggest difference was the uncle's first name... which got directly referenced in the part with the henchman in Paris, so Jack Johnstone clearly knew what he was doing.
My interpretation is that the Suspense version was what the perp wanted to sell it as, and Johnny Dollar uncovered what actually happened. Although, the hole in this is who survives at the very end.

The SUSPENSE version is on u-tube and credits a different writer

Remember Banacek? Private insurance investigator from 70s TV show. Seems like they might have borrowed from Johnny Dollar.
