  • How to make a super easy DIY blanket poncho with a no-sew method plus an easy sew method that will get you looking comfy and stylish. You can refashion a blanket you already have or buy an affordable fleece plush blanket throw like I did and turn it into the diy blanket shawl/ cape/ poncho.

    Great tutorial thanks. I have a wheelchair bound client, and I want to make her one of these. This looks easy enough to do so. Also, the rain 🌧 had me 😆. Adorable.

    Walmart had these on ad for $3 yesterday, and I wondered what I could make if I bought two or three. I love capes and would want several, as long as I can use a simple pattern/process like yours.

    Nice idea but pin side ways so as your stitching you just easily pull out the pins rather than stopping the needle all the time

      Based off my experience buying these blankets from Walmart, I would say about 50"×60".
