As a Persian speaker from Iran, greetings to all Pashtuns, what a beautiful language you have, in my opinion, your language sounds like ancient languages. 🇮🇷❤🇦🇫
@@GreaterAfghanistanMovement Pashto sounds like Persian with a Hindi/Urdu accent. I can speak Hindi, and a lot of words in the Pashto seemed familiar to me, as if someone from home is speaking with me. It is not the same language, I agree, but it gives me a feel of familiarity, idk man.
Persians ancestors were settled Iranian peoples whilst Pashtuns ancestors were still nomadic Iranian peoples. that could also explain why Pashtuns are way more tribal/religious than Persians.
Persians were historically nomadic as well and tribalism isn't equal to nomadism. Pashtuns are mainly descendants of sedentary people like Bactrians & Pacytans while our semi-nomadic roots probably came from mixing with Scythians. But also, Pashtunwali plays a bit role in why Pashtuns are more warlike and tribal then other Iranic people.
Wow, although both languages have been geographically close to each other they have nothing in common, the numeral 9 is the only one that seems identical, otherwise they feel countries apart.
While some languages keep getting repeated again and again, some very significant ones never get represented even once. The biggest example is Awadhi, which has hundreds of millions of speakers but never gets represented here!

God bless Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, all Iranian peoples
Pashto has roots in Avesta and has similarities with Bactrians, Soghdians and Saka,,
Bactrian is half greek and shaka(kushans) were indo Aryan . pashto's root goes back avesta
@ Saka is Scythian or Askuzai and that’s a different tribe from Kushan
@@Girl_Of_Renaissance3119 What? Bactrian is an Iranian language, it has zero relations to Greek.
Yes because pashto is an eastern iranic language
Thank you for the video. Interesting language!
ALLAH BLESS AFGHANISTAN AND IRAN
Pashto sounds like hindi in some aspect
No
پشتون و بلوچی صداها و لحن به اردو و هندی تقریبا شبیهه.شاید چون همسایه هستن تاثیر گرفتن
@@Avin_RF Pashto doesn't sound anything like Hindi. Its likely because of Retroflex consonants which creates that accent.

@@TheChampion2025 Pashto is as similar to Hindi as Kurdish is similar to Hindi. Pashto has nothing to do with Indian languages.

Persian and Arab
Pashtuns are descended from nomadic Iranian peoples like the Saka for example
Pashto is most similar to Ossetian but unfortunately, our language is plagued with retroflex consonants.

I'll be honest,in my latin perspective hearing, pashto has somehow a Japanese accent to it
idem 😅
Interesting, someone else has said this too. Even similar words among Pashto & Japanese.
Whattttttt? Latin??????
Are you fine?
@ it means: neo-Latin languages as Italian, Spanish, French…
@@claudioflocco7456 yeah, sorry for the confusion
