On top of these features, if we get features to export drawing from clipping plane view will be awesome just like rhino. Also, in walk mode, scroll wheel to change walk speed.
I think a new shortcut/function for walk mode isnt necessary. Blender has a neat shortcut already for it, Shift + ~ (or Shift + ', depending on the keyboard layout). It also has a nice feature when using it pressing TAB, it activates gravity, so you can walk around like a game. It also can change the walk speed with scroll wheel.
Thanks for the tip. I still it's important to have it. There are many people using Blenderbim without background in Blender. You can count me one of them :)
awesome! I think it would be very useful to use solid representation of the cut elements (solid element colour would be fine, I don't necessarily need hatches) instead of looking through the surfaces - is it possible already, is it on the roadmap or should I put a feature request somewhere?
Many thanks for the video, really helpful!!
Glad it was helpful!
Walk mode has been around in Blender for a long time.

You can create drawings...check IfcArchitect's channel.

Best is to create an issue on github.
Feel free to suggest this on github, maybe can become something out of it.
Wow, this was badly needed!
Yes, and now we have it. For free!
How is the BIM walk mode different from the standard Blender walk mode? Does BlenderBIM stop the standard walk mode from working?
I don't know, to be honest.
