In my opinion as a nationals fan. We got swept because we were more worried about Profar and his celebration then just trying to go and win the next game. Dave Martinez suddenly is OK with a message being sent in hitting Profar..but it’s not OK when his own guys celebrate a home run or a big spot moment in the past. I’m really tired of him not stepping up lately for his guys. Have some fucking energy, wake them up if there was a time to get ejected it was when Lane Thomas stole second but was called back. Have some fucking fire Davey.
@@clarktownsend8991 I'm of the mindset that Lane Thomas is worth more than a top 75 prospect by himself... Good fielder, good hitter. Wood, Crews, Thomas is a pretty solid outfield... And tbh I would keep finnegan too. I don't see why we wouldnt be competitive next year if we almost have a wildcard spot right now.
The nats success this year entirely depends on the starting pitching staying elite, even then the lineup will still bring them down. The lineup for the most part is horrendous. I’d be happy to keep lane around but he has to stop being terrible for the first 2+ months of every season. If the right offer came I’d be willing to trade him. Praying Josiah Gray’s great AAA start is a sign he’s getting back on the right track. Most importantly no one on a 1 year deal should be on this team past the trade deadline.
You jinxed us ! Also I’m fine with pausing the herz experience for now one out of body experience and the rest bad for the kid . Also I’m it was like the 3rd time in 2 weeks we were getting no nit for majority of the game with a guy who had a 4-12 era
Need to bring up Wood & also Stone Garrett soon (hopefully) and please let go of Rosario, Ramirez, and all of the other unproductive, cast-off hitters. Absolutely wouldn’t trade Lane Thomas. He’s a foundational team player and should be here for the upcoming “good days” to come. He and CJ make for a potent 1-2 punch. Wouldn’t break that up!

You're gonna have to give me a CRAZY package for Lane Thomas. He's young and a major contributor. Winker I will miss, but I get it.
I'm of the mindstate if you package him with Kyle Finnegan you probably get a top 75 prospect.

14:45 I love wink but I’d trade him Harvey and senzel I feel lane is part of the future just like Tre was supposed to be
6:13 my player in the show has 30 homers 130 rbis and batting 358 and haven’t been called up to the show yet lol

Dylan Cease is a great pitcher having a bad year.
@@clarktownsend8991 still
28:39 if we can sneak into the post season even if we got swept it wohld be huge for this team moving forward
Only would be good for the pitchers. Hitters wouldn't get much out of it.
@@clarktownsend8991 the whole team would , being in the atmosphere playing in big moments etc
Call up Wood after the deadline, not now.

Why? They were projected to be the worst team in the NL and have overperformed.
Hmmmm different tone after getting sweep by the stinking PADRES 🤣🤣🤣
