Mikaika, my sweet little sister in Christ, your decor is just beautiful … and thanks fir showing how you put it all together. I AM a grandma, so I love “grandma core”. And I don’t mind a little chip on a dish or hole in a tablecover… just tells me it was well loved. I think even damaged goods deserve a nice home. 😊 I also love anything vintage; so nostalgic.. reminds me of childhood and my own older relatives homes. My whole house .. furniture and decor… are mostly family pieces or thrift finds. The only piece I bought new was a bed for the guest room and it’s 20 years old. 😂 If I use anything “new”, always juxtapose with something old to warm it up… which is why I think I’m so drawn to your decorating. It’s so warm and homey. I’m sure people feel that way when they visit you … your sweet spirit and the warmth of your home is like a big welcoming hug. Like you, not big on pumpkin spice … except for the holidays slice of pie. I’m not one of those jumping for joy when pumpkin spice coffee and candles hit the store shelves. Lol. But I do fill my home with pumpkin decor during this season. Praying you continue to feel better and better!! Jer 30:17…”I will restore health to you.. says the Lord” 🙏❤️

Good morning sweet friend!😊 Love the print of the child in that beautiful ornate frame❤ The heart frame is really pretty too. Love the amber jug on top with the fall picks, i love amber glass & its perfect for fall! That hutch turned out so pretty! I honestly don't care for pumpkin flavors. I might eat a slice of pumpkin pie, but that's about it. When it comes to my coffee, hot or cold, I'm simple.. its caramel machiatto, at home or wherever i go to get coffee! The top of the buffet looks so nice, love it!🤎 I love collecting old single side or dining chairs & placing then around my home for decor.. some are functional & some i wouldn't trust to sit in😬 I love the Victorian pieces & anything from that era! That's A very beautiful piece! It looks so pretty how you save it styled too. I love the crystal lamp as well, its beautiful! I think the lace piece looks nice on the couch! Mikaila you did an an amazing job decorating! Everything looks so beautiful, especially with the candles & fairy lights lit up. Psalms is my favorite book in the Bible & love that verse. I'm so thankful i have a Father that has been, is & always will be right by my side to lead, guide & E6000 protect me.. He's amazing!😊 I pray you have a very blessed week 🙏🏻
Hello there my friend! I loved it to, I thought it gave a little more of a victorian era look to the hutch :). I have recently discovered that I love amber glass to so I am on the hunt for it now when I am out thrifting! We are both of the part of the non-pumpkin liking club lol. I love anything with caramel, I will eat caramel itself by the spoon (though I dont' much cause its loaded with sugar ). I love collecting single chairs to! I have a few in my garage that I am going to clean up when more of our rooms are painted and use them in different places. Thank you! I like the tablecloth on the couch to, it just looks more charming that way in my opinion :). I love Psalms as well, and also Romans! I hope you have an amazing week to! I love the big variety of pumpkins you have. It all looks so cute 🥰 now I’m inspired to get some white pumpkins and different textures like wood and metal ones. I tend to make my fall decorating more cheesy Halloween. I have spiders and skeletons and stuff mixed in with my traditional fall stuff. I love pumpkin pies and pumpkin bread but I don’t really drink lattes. I’m a black coffee girl.

I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin flavor either, but I love apple cinnamon and this is the time of year for good cider and all kinds of apple cinnamon baked goods. Yum.

Very cozy and inviting. I like all of the items you chose to use in your arrangements. It is quite magical when it's dark and all of the lights and candles are on. As far as pumpkin stuff. I really only love pumpkin pie and I'm afraid I'm a little biased and only really love my own pumpkin pie because I like a lot of spice in it. I just use the can recipe, but I double the spice, at least, if not a bit more. My MIL used to agree with me that there is nothing worse than a bland pumpkin pie without enough spice. And with a huge dollop of homemade whipped cream, of course. Pumpkin bars are also quite good. I am not into pumpkin spice flavored coffees or most of the items that hit the shelves during this time of year. Sorry to hear about the ankle - hope you are healing.

Hey Mikaila! I'm coming over from Raylynn's channel! I just love her so much and when she recommended your channel I knew I had to check it out. I absolutely love your style of decorating! You decorated both of your hutches absolutely beautiful. I love going thrifting and going shopping at Home Goods/TJ Maxx and Marshalls, etc of course! So I've been mixing new and vintage items together lately too. It is so fun finding little treasures at the thrift store! I love going antiquing too when I can. I used to when I was a kid and this year I started taking my 8yr old daughter with me and she loved it! 😊 She was drawn more to the jewelry I noticed. My parents have all antique furniture in their dining room from the 1800s. I have always loved eating family dinners in that dining room growing up and still do whenever I get to visit home.
