One of my favorite ways to create ultra-fast tempo and simplicity. I call them "Uno's", I learned something good from your teaching. I like the way you teach with live diagram and then film. Keep em' coming Coach!
+Coaching Process Wins Hey coach, I saw your video were you talked about your Unos. Great video. I try to give the players another way to learn. I find some players do well with diagrams, while others do better with cut ups.
hi thanks alot for your humble way to teach and share your knowledge i really apreciate it! what software you utilize for this video? sincerally ,juan melendezm film stream and national team denmark american football daff
Thanks for the info, what computer software do you use. Am I understanding you only have three total plays? What age are you coaching High School? I haven't coached in 20 years, so any help is greatly appreciated.
I'd love to learn more about your #2 play - the RPO from the run where you pull the OC. Do you have more film on it? Have you done a video on that play?
+Coaching Process Wins Coach, I have done a series on our Pin and Pull RPO. Love it because out combines the buck sweep, which you said you ran one season, with the RPO world.
i do this in addition to a thunder package which is 4 to 5 plays run in order. when i yell thunder they run those 5 plays before the next playcall. depending on how much the kids can handle. i run 1 to 3 different packages. when in doubt i run 1 package. Example. 1. Trips RT Tight buck sweep RT 2. doubles RT X Shallow 3. King RT Zone LT 4. Queen Lt Counter RT 5. empty RT Smash
Coach Clarke, I like that. How do you go about repping that with your kids? Do you rep every play every day? Or do you have the kids memorize three plays a day then chain those together?
Coach McKie I run something called the No Huddle Drill (real revolutionary name I know). Set 5 footballs 10 yards apart from each other. Run the 1st play at the 1st football. Sprint to the next football run the second play. Keep going until the sequence is done.
Coach McKie typically Lets say I have 1 sequence where I have 3 runs and 2 passes. I'll tag the 3 runs with a screen. And 2 Dropback/quick passes Example 1. Trips LT F Jet 21 Trap (I love having jet motion on inside Trap and IZ) after the WR fakes jet runs Bubble Screen 2. Doubles X Follow 3. King RT Stack Power RT X Quick 4. Doubles Zone LT Y Bubble 5. Spread RT 4 Verts
I noticed my sons Jr. High coaches 7v7 in Texas a lot like what you’re doing in your videos. My question is what type of ball should he throw on the snag route? The receiver is only 1 yard behind the linebacker. I don’t know maybe I don’t have a clear understanding on it. Thanks coach.
What do you mean coach? If the LB is in front of the receiver then the QB shouldn't throw the ball. Haha. If you are talking about how hard then he doesn't want to FIRE the ball in there and he doesn't want to lob it to him as well.
Coach Good Stuff...I've been following you for the last month or so know. Do you have hudl tape to exchange to see all RPO in cut ups. Coach Howell...AEHS in Maryland
Coach Rising, Thank you for taking a time out of your day to watch my videos and to leave a comment. It means a lot to me. I do have Hudl tape, but all of our runs would be considered RPOs. We tag key screens or quick game to it. What would you like to learn more of?
Hey coach, Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch my video. I use the Hudl playbook feature that comes with Hudl. It's a great program to use.
Have you experimented with speeding this series up even more by not calling the play out at all? If spot of the ball is all that matters, might the players know immediately what play to run and then go on first sound in no huddle? Also, how do you recruit a Gardner Minshew onto your roster--LOL.
I haven't messed with that in a game. We did it in practice, but I didn't like it. Easy...call him up and tell him he can sit the bench or lead the nation in passing. haha.
Hey Coach, Thanks for watching my video. It means a lot to me that you took the time out of your day to do that. I call my normal plays by giving a formation, play, then tag. So it will look something like this: Ace Zorro 91. Ace - 2 x 2 set. Zorro - inside zone to the right. 91 - all hitches. Hope that helps.

Love the plays being drawn up but I love the cut ups being shown even more
+Brandon Oney Thanks for watching coach. I am going to start adding more cut ups to my videos.
Great concepts coach! Looking forward to learning more from your channel.

Thanks coach.
Great material, thx for sharing!

I want to marry out power with a 3 by 1 concepts either trips, trio or trey formation
Coach Rising,
Then the best RPO I would tag with those is the Stick concept. Have #3 run an Arrow, #2 the Stick, and #1 a Vertical.
Thanks Coach. We will look at it with our boys tomorrow.
Sounds great coach. Let me know how it goes.
Good Stuff Coach
Thanks coach. And Thanks for watching.
What site is this?
Coach is the first play (#1) a RPO?
hey coach, what program are you using when diagraming those plays? thanks.
hes using hudl playbook
What program do you use coach? To make the plays etc
Hey coach,
Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch my video. I use the Hudl playbook feature that comes with Hudl. It's a great program to use.
Coach, can you recommend WR & QB camps/clinics for spread offense in California?
Jesse
+Jesse Ortega Coach, I don't know of any. Sorry
What website are you using to draw your plays?
+Justin Dunlap Coach, I'm using Hudl's playbook feature.
At 5:06 why have the tackle block the back side end why not option him...and if the QB takes goes to take off and then reads the backer
+Jesus Of Nazareth Coach, you could do that. I just like having my guy read one defender
Coach McKie true I suppose in high school you want to simplify it. Perhaps in college you'd give a QB the extra responsibility
why not 4 for 4 Verts?
Great video
+Justin Chavez Thanks coach. And thanks for watching and leaving a comment. It means a lot to me.
haha soon to be coach I am 17 just trying to learn as much as I can right now! Love you videos keep them coming!
Doesn't matter to me. In my eyes you are a coach since you are studying up. Keep at it.

What high school do you coach
Coach Kid,
I coach at a school in South Carolina.
Coach can I run this with 10 u team
+Melvin Tucker if like to think so. Check out my latest videos. It's for middle school teams wanting to run the Air Raid

how do you call your other plays in your playbook? these are the only one word plays?
Hey Coach,
Thanks for watching my video. It means a lot to me that you took the time out of your day to do that. I call my normal plays by giving a formation, play, then tag. So it will look something like this: Ace Zorro 91. Ace - 2 x 2 set. Zorro - inside zone to the right. 91 - all hitches.

Show this concept with Y Sail
Hey coach, I'm using Husk playbook and you can run one word y sail. All you have to do is come up with the word you want to use.
“Husk” is that a typo for Hudl playbook??
Haha, yes it is coach. Sorry.
what playbook software are you using coach
+Coach West Coach, I'm using Hudl
Coach McKie I am on huddle all the time we don't use the playbook feature. I have been missing out.
Coach West,
I know that the playbook feature is an upgrade. I think it is 200 dollars more for it.
