Awesomely Beautiful !!! The views are amazing, I wonder if the horses enjoy the grander as well. Thank You for your videos as they provide positive emotions for my day !
OMGosh!!! How insanely beautiful is that view!! I sure do hope to be blessed some day with a visit with my horse to this Park 🤠 Thanks so much for sharing. God bless...
Thank You Bob! These have been in the can awhile, waiting to be processed. Christine's mother fell ill in August and passed away in September. The funeral was held up until October so we've been away. It's good to be back home in Colorado.
I’m looking for a safe, sane and sound trail horse for adventures such as yours. Any advice on where to find a good one sure would be appreciated. I’m located nearTrout Creek, MT. Love your videos
We don't have any leads currently as the one we knew of sold yesterday.........to us! IMO all of our "safe, sane and sound" trail horses have been a work of love. Sweaty blankets and many miles have no substitute, but with that said we do know there's something different in every horse. Some are simply too high strung. They are as individual as we are. What we look for is calmness with an "in your pocket" demeanor. That gives us plenty to work with as we put in the miles "building" a safe, sane and sound companion. Of the 4 very reliable horses in this video, the Palomino is a Quarter Horse descendent of the great Leo, while the Tabiano paint Mare is mostly Thoroughbred. Mike and Susie wouldn't ride anything other than Appaloosa horses as you see here. Really what we're getting at is any trail horse breed with a good mind can be a good trail horse. If we run across a good prospect we could let you know, but we have no idea as to your budget and expectations of age, breed, color, etc, etc., we live in southwest Colorado which is a bit from you.
The video was shot using a DJI Osmo Pocket, and a DJI Osmo Pocket II. They are gimbal stabilized so you get very smooth video even with the movement of the horse and rider. The newest version just came out, the Osmo Pocket III. It’s the one I’d buy if I were looking for one. It’s very nice to have your horse neck reining which ours do. That way you have a hand to guide your horse and a free hand to shoot video. Glad you enjoy our video and happy to know you’ve ridden this ride.
@bbarcadventures7757 thank you! That was what I thought it was, but I wanted to verify. I love the history information you add and the names. I was so in awe I didn't take time to dive into it all. Thanks again, and I'll continue watching!
Will this trip be available in August of 2024? We're planning a Glacier vacation and the only horseback riding I've seen so far is with Swan Mountain, with no trips to Iceberg/Ptarmigan Tunnel.
We are not outfitters and do not take people for hire on our trips. The riders in this video are a group of friends that enjoy sharing the experience with each other. Swan Mountain Outfitters do most of the for hire trips in Glacier. It might be worth a call to them and ask specifically if you could arrange a horseback trip to the Ptarmigan Tunnel and Iceberg Lake.
There are trainers posting videos that do a far better job on natural horsemanship than I could ever do! I'm not much of a great rider by any measure, we simply enjoy the experience of horses. The one thing we're blessed with is to ride our horses every week.
Indescribably beautiful, what a trail. Thank you for sharing🤠
so beautiful breathtaking
looks amazing, I definitely want to do these trails!

Thank You and we appreciate that you shared scripture!
What a great video! We're jealous we didn't ride horses to the tunnel and to Iceberg Lake when we hiked there in July!
Now you have reason to go back!

I rode this ride in August. You captured it very well! May i ask what cameras you two are using? Thank you!

Can you do a TH-cam video on Understanding nature horsemanship
