Yes you can, If you have a small table and a chair...Fold down one leg and extend remaining two legs and lean the tripod on the table. Then tilt down the tripod head to down looks like camera pointing down. This method is uncomfortable while shooting cz you need to sit behind the tripod in an angle. But it does the job There you go!
