It's so relaxing. This game was pretty fun but I think it got low scores. It could have used some improvements, yes, but to me, this game is an underrated game, I hope for them to make another digimon game where you get to play as digimon and it's not just a fighting game, but those are fun as well, rumble arena is by far the best digimon fighting game I've played and battle spirits comes in second but battle spirits 2 feels worse because of the smaller fighter roster. And unless you watched Frontiers, you wouldn't know the characters or the story. I would like a digimon mmorpg where you play as the digimon but since all digimon of the same species look the same, I don't think they can fit customization of character creation in there. Also there are many digimon and many ways to Digivolve that...yeah it would be complicated. I wish x anti body digimon were put into games, I'm not talking for about natural carriers like Dorumon, I'm talking about digimon that get transformed by the x anti body, like how MetalGarurumon X is bipedal while MetalGarurumon is not. I guess the perfect digimon game will never exist, although DMO is fairly close I guess. But the best digimon game period I played would be digimon world dawn. It felt proper.
agreed. This game was awesome in my opinion. I dont think back on many games in my childhood but this is one of them. I ordered it a while back and never regreted it.
I also loved the atmosphere of this game ,along with the music! I would really love to see, if anyone wants to make a remake of this game...or a sequel at least...

ThisisPow I Have this game on GameCube as well but I've been lucky enough to pick up and find multiple copies of this game at garage sales, flee markets and and old video game store for pretty cheap prices compared to online.
Remember playing this with my brother back in the days. The game can be very lackluster without any friends and it can also be a bit of a grind fest but heck, we had fun and it was actually very satisfying when you had other difficulties so you could go back and farm or simply progress in a more difficult mode. I think they could make a similar game only with the royal knight as sort of a subclass or sub skill, with online gameplay in a mmorpg side quest sence where you entered as 10+ digis, evolved,fused and bashed your way through all manner of obstacles and enemies. On top of a good single player story mode of course. This also looks more like a teen rated art style for digimon which seems like a pretty good online multiplayer approach imo.

I remember for the PlayStation Version of the loading screen always took forever. I can't tell you how many times I would almost started drift off to sleep. Now I use this to help fall asleep sometimes.
Unfortunately no. The problem is that I don't know how to make download links like mostly everyone else in this world does. The only thing I can suggest is using a youtube to mp3 converter. The one I used to use was youtube-mp3(dot)org but it stopped working so now I use video2mp3(dot)net
The general problems with this game were plentiful, it was definitely designed for online play but never got to that point, its statistics and grinding are deeper than the actual combat, and the weird ways you earn your digievolutions is bizarre and hardly feels like they correlate. But damn was it an adventure. Wouldn't trade it away if I could.
Every time me and my brother turn this game on, we just sit there and let this song play. It almost never fails to make a us cry, and we just sit there in silence. We hadn't beaten the final boss until about two years ago when we finally had three GameCube controllers again. I hope we can play it next time they both visit.

Oh boy, I remember always playing this with my sister. I played as Dorumon and she played as Guilmon. I miss those childhood moments.

It might not be a great game but it sure has a special place in my heart since I played when I was a still kid.

Both this and the Stranger Things theme song use a Major 7 chord as a "hook". Major 7 chords are always really pretty and fairly identifiable.
