Sam Come film here next year, we get big perch to 16" along with walleye in 3-7 fow first ice and again in march and there is nothing on earth like sight fishn them i promise.
Hammered on the same color the other day in Wisco. You can definitely see the difference on fall on electronics. However. We’ve hammered on Saginaw with moonshine spoons. Local jigging spoons and hard to find outside the area. Most well known for the trolling spoons. Personal plug for the moonshine ice spoons. Did well on the vmc also there. Going there this week.

Be safe on Erie guys! A lot of sleds have gone through the ice on Erie this year in the Port Clinton/Catawba area. Ice can go from a foot plus to a couple inches very quick.
We pay close attention to how a fish reacts with a bait. If it comes in strong and hesitates multiple times at a short distance without hitting we assume the fish was willing but there was just something a bit off with our lure choice. This will typically trigger a color change. If color change doesn't solve the problem then we start experimenting with different lures.
I u guys we’re gonna comeback last ice the big schools move in shallow. 4-12’ and there on fire. Spring and summer is good trolling/jigging If u guys need a destination spot for the ido on the boat.

We did all our moving around in an airboat. Agreed on the ice being in very poor condition.
