Taylor was always worried about Brooke corrupting her children but it was Stephanie. Her war with Brooke is what poisoned the family. She brainwashed Steffy and Thomas into thinking Brooke was standing in the way of their parents getting back together but ridge just didn’t want to be married to Taylor.
Stephanie fought for Ridge and Taylor's marriage and poisoned them with Taylor against Brooke when it was Taylor who couldn't keep a man he always wanted Brooke the love of his life
I love Susan Flannary as Stephanie, I really believe her character. I also like seeing her trying to weasel her way out of messes she created.. It's kinda funny, I laughed.
Say what you want about Brooke and Ridge. I just love the full circle moment when he’s putting the flower petals in the waterfall while Brooke sits down below. It’s what the new Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) did when he came back to LA a couple years later. Such a romantic moment and they tie it together so well later on.

She even portrays the 'crazy Tay' trope believably that the writers foisted on her. So eff off to the haters of this actress. And thank goodness the writers allowed Taylor to keep at least some of her original character here. (Even though they've tried to rewrite history.)
