As I’ve said in basically every video I’ve made regarding fractional gold... I consider the higher premiums a security expense. One could argue that a “security expense” is almost synonymous with “insurance”, but I’m not interested in arguing or nitpicking over verbiage. Call it whatever you want 😂
Yep, I just bought 56 of them for $237.44. Basically, I thought I'd get into silver going from small to larger priced/sized pieces. About two days after I purchased them, it hit me that I paid double per coin...stupid of me to not realize that a 20 oz of rounds was $538 and a 5.6 oz of 1/10 was $237. I basically paid 42.40 premium per oz instead of the $3-5 for an ounce round premium. Hopefully Im the only dummy out there who doesn't realize the premium difference by doing some simple math, before making a first purchase.
My fractional are constitutional, but I do have 5 1/10 oz silver from a starter kit from monument metals. Didnt like them before, but they are looking better all the time
Absolutely. That’s why I never traded dollars for fractional silver & will only be going for 1/10oz gold coins until I complete my international Troy oz 😂
I stick with 1 oz silver coins. Premiums are high enough already. For gold I'm sticking to 1/4 oz on fractional, as the premium is quite a bit less than 1/10 oz.
Honestly. If premiums were equal. I would go with fractions all day, dont ever know when you just may wanna cash in a portion of portfolio versus having to trade all weight for an emergency them losing investments b/c portfolio is all huge weight
Hey DYDDS, have you looked at Goldbacks at all? I've gotten a couple partially as a curiosity, but also as another gold increment. I'd like to see a video with your take on them.
I love that gold idea. I am going to try and do the same and I got the idea from you. I have 3 different countries but more than 3 pieces. But I’m into fractional gold because I think it would be easier to part ways with in the long term and I would rather 1oz silver minimum while it’s affordable at least. I stick with generics also.
I like having some of the fractional gold & silver as it's nice to have the flexibility if I ever had to sell. But I watch the prices for lower premiums.
I can honestly say there’s nothing cool about a 1/10 oz. silver round. If anything, it just leaves me shaking my head. That’s what junk silver is for!!!!! Now fractional gold is actually understandable. Fractional silver makes zero sense to me. 🤷♂️
what you described (as a reason to buy fractional gold) is NOT a security feature. It is a form of Insurance.

I have 5 1/10 silver and 2 1/20 silver rounds. Definitely more expensive but they sure are cool
Why on earth would u buy fractional silver
My fractional are constitutional, but I do have 5 1/10 oz silver from a starter kit from monument metals. Didnt like them before, but they are looking better all the time
To me, the premiums on fractionals are deal breakers as they can easily exceed 20% of spot.

Silver will go much higher and gold will go to 3000 $ per troy ounce by december
Oh? Lol

A better comparison would be 1/10 oz silver buffalos vs. Mercury dimes.
I don’t own a gold buffalo either Mykie. Someday definitely. Thanks for the shout again 😀 you are most welcome. Thanks for all the content bud! 😉

The gold one is worth more...
🤣😂🤣
I find this offensive
How much is a 1/10 of gold coin cost
$195 ish for the metal, plus $30-50 for the premium
Money medals exchange you will find lots of fractional silver there
If/When Silver goes to $1000/oz, you're gonna wish you had fractionals.
I have Constitutional 90%, too, but you can't legally melt it.
Fractionals are great especially for those stacking on a limited budget. Key is to keep on stacking
So it’s a Mercury Dime and a Mexican 5 Peso coin ...

Question off subject:
Does a damaged casted silver bar (Dropped) affect the value of the piece or price of one

Gold yes! Silver not so much. Definently prefer lower premiums than fractional offers.
My plan is to hold out and when I can get a Buffalo for $100 face in 90% ...do it.
I have those exact same 1/10 oz silver Indian head/buffalo rounds. Figure they might make good change if I ever have to SHTF barter
Could be a convenient way of “breaking” a Troy oz if you ever absolutely needed to!
Nice maple
I appreciate that, thanks 💪🍁
I like ASE 1 oz and my fictional silver is my 90% walkers.
How about an international dozen? Twelve 1/4 ounces of gold! And that 3 Troy ounces of gold “internationally” instead of just one!
No coin shops in my area :( When ordering on line, I have to order $ 100 minimum to avoid shipping.
Hoping to pick up a little fractional gold on black Friday. 👀
That would be GREAT! Hopefully spot price isn’t crazy high by then 😂
