    I love this! I would really like to see someone map uneven brows though. Every single video on mapping use ‘easy’ clients to demonstrate. None of my clients are this easy so it would be great to see how tackle tricky brows. Please share thus type of video. It would help so many I think.

      There is no such thing as “easy” brow mapping lol. There are people who are more diff to map but we were also in a middle of a pandemic so filming was hard. Could only work on a friends or mannequin heads lol

      I would love to show more too. im in the process of doing a bunch of brow mapping videos for a great mini online course which will go over how to brow map on men, women, clients with previous pmu, clients with thick hair vs sparse hair, etc. Most of the videos I made were during the whole covid pandemic and quarantine didn't leave me a ton of options. I will be sharing these videos soon hopefully 🤞🏻

    Excellent demonstration! I love the attention to detail and the tips that really relate to a real person. The only problem is that your model already has a shape! My eyebrows for instance, have hairs covering the lines. The shape is not there, because I regrew them. I also have sparse areas next to bushy areas. I don’t want to follow the sparse areas and over pluck my bushy areas. I also favor a natural looking brow that after strategically removing a few hairs, I would be left with brows that “feathers” and look like they were not “altered” (even though they were).
    If you have brows already shaped, then you are just keep them up.

    What if the client doesn't have great brows with clear hairlines? Trying to map out my brows now into a new shape after growing out since March and they're not nearly as defined or clean as your models'!

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      yes the model is actually a friend/client. so her brows are already done. I would recommend always staying true to the bone structure. you want the brows to move with the face. so the body of the brow should lay on the brow bone and the tail should wrap around it (highlighting the brow bone)

    How would you map on a client with no brows or little hair? Do you ever apply the 1/3 rule since the brows shrink 20-30%?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      so brow mapping is hard bc its not a one size fits all. This is why I have so many brow mapping videos and hope to make many more in the future. Everyone's face shape/size is different so it's important that we apply the brow mapping "rules" to their face but also make any necessary alterations so that it looks natural on them. Here is a good video explaining it. ➡️th-cam.com/video/2ZTXVOGNKhs/w-d-xo.html

    There is a talented people among us when it comes to such an art and people like me. As hard as I try I keep giving up after few hours. I really wish that someone can do my eyebrows. It has been a while since I was happy about how my eyebrows looks. I had my “eyebrow person” moved to live in different city and since than anywhere I go to do my eyebrows I ending up regretting go there (it’s been years and years) Seems like all they do is making my eyebrows to look not only simple and uneven but thinner and thinner after cleaning them up every time , if I continue to come back to same place to give another shot. Can someone suggest me how to choose a right place to do the eyebrows please, cause I just wish my eyebrows can look good enough for me?
    The way you show and do eyebrows is unbelievably awesome.

    What do you do for point 3 when one brow is higher than the other?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      one brow is almost ALWAYS higher than the other. the goal is to have symmetrical brows however bc peoples faces are asymmetrical its almost impossible to achieve 100% perfect symmetrical brows so the goal is to IMPROVE symmetry. instead of bringing one brow up to meet the other have them meet half way. meaning bring one down a little and the other up a little. make sense?

      I tried doing that in the beginning but then you have to use a brow mapping pencil to get the "pigment" on it. It ends up taking more time and gets messy. To be honest, pre-inked string is the way to go (for me). I feel like it lasts for quite a few clients too!

    Do you prefer sitting up mapping vs laying down?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I start sitting up to find my vertical lines and then use the string to connect all of my points. However, I lay my client down once I go to draw over the lines and clean everything up. Once im completely done, I sit my client up to look at the finished product to make sure they like the size/shape.

    We're using the brows as a guide but what if they have no brows

    • @bossbrowsla

      then feel the brow bones and use that as a guide. When a client has zero hair I like to use a brow pencil and just lightly fill them in first so I can see what shape/size looks best before committing to an outline. 💯
