castor oil is very heavy by itself, but at the moment I’m using a combo of castor mixed with aloe vera gel for twisting… once my castor is finished i’ll twist with a combo of aloe & argan…

How exactly do you use the aloe Vera juice and water mix? Do you put it in a spray bottle?
Yes, I fill the spray bottle with some water until like the 1/4 line and pour the aloe vera juice in. I don't fill the spray bottle up all the way because I pour out the water after 1 day of use.

I’m on my last bottle of rose water… I currently use rose water & aloe vera spritz daily… i’m going to start using distilled water instead of rose water, it’s cheaper and i’m not in-love with the scent rose water🤷🏾♀️
you can use a satin/silk pillow case if you can’t take wearing a scarf all night (like me) I can last about three hrs then I take it off…
Hey Jazzie!! I am relatively a new subscriber and I love your content.. Thank you for these 5 tips! I never considered pouring the water out of my spray bottle everytime I use it but you brought up a good point that bacteria may grow if the spray bottle is used over and over again with now water change! Also, I usually wear a shower cap so maybe Ill try with just putting my hair IP and letting the moisture get to it?
Hey Elena! Thank you for watching 🥰. I'm my video was able to help. I didn't know about pouring the water out either at first. We learn more and more as we continue or natural/loc journey. Wearing a shower cap isn't bad. When I don't wear one, it just allow my locs to get a little bit more moisture. Let me know how it works for you 💜.
Love it! I too use aloe Vera mix led with distilled water. It makes my locs feel so soft and moisturized! I’ve heard that retwisting with oil was the way to go because it’s less build up so I’ll definitely try on my next retwist. I use a product called “impress loc and slay”.
