That is the one thing I will NEVER understand about youth football nowadays. Because when I played youth football at 10-12 our QBs were ALWAYS some of the tallest kids. It kinda sets them up for failure if they get their hearts set on being QBs if they do not end up hitting a growth spurt. Sure being a smaller QB can work, and might lead to further playing opportunities but more likely than not they can’t stay QB for many more years.
