I am 19yrs old and my dad got the original xbox the day it came out. Back then they only had these huge bulky controllers that were too big for even some adults hands so being that I was 5 yrs old I couldn’t even play it haha. Then when star wars knights of the old republic came out I remember sitting in line on release with my older brother and my dad to get it and they said we got the last copy. My dad also got the newly designed controller for me so I could play the game haha. That game is still in my top 10 even to this day. So many great memories with my older brother just playin this game for hours on end making decisions that made you on the dark or light side. Man I miss that game. Play it Lamar!

XBOX 1X Project Scorpio Edition... That Monday Night was at the Game Stop with Coffee and Donuts for everyone that worked there because I was getting my baby that I have waited for a year and a half! Got it home that night, unboxed it.... awed at it, then boxed it back up til the next morning. lol
I did the same... after having Nintendo for a long time I got the ps2 slim while one of my cousins had the original Xbox I remember the days of playing split screen halo when I went to his house... those were the golden days
I pre-ordered the Scorpio edition the day it became available, couldn't wait, the X is amazing. Your vids are are awesome and fun, puts a new twist on TH-cam.

That’s so true about people questioning why people collect stuff. Everyone collects stuff of some kind, so it doesn’t matter. And it’s pretty much an aesthetic thing too. Also in terms of the consoles, I was the same I had a PS2 and then got an Xbox 360, but I wasn’t much of a gamer so there we go. Still love the one take videos, it’s kind of annoying when some videos have really noticeable cuts.

Its better to have double aa batteries in case your internal battery dies or in case you forget to charge your control and hate the play and charge wire. Good back up. Keep them.
That Car Guy I have to agree with you. I invested in 4 rechargable AA batteries and they haven't let me down yet. You definetly will save money if you get (removable) rechargeable batteries.

I understand the whole collecting controllers thing. I've been collecting limited edition consoles and controllers since the Xbox 360 days. I'm up to 4 Xbox Ones, and 12 Xbox One controllers at this point. It gets expensive. I envy your hook-ups over at Microsoft lol. I even preordered that new Forza 7, Scuf, limited edition Elite controller. Most expensive controller I will own, hands down. I'm working on building a display for all my controllers as well.
Cool controllers I just got the xbox one x yesterday and it’s the first one I had after the original Xbox. So I’ll have to get some more controllers and other accessories for it soon..

Xbox original backwards compatibility is great, I played Black recently and Kotor which is a classic, hope to see more added to the list.
